Perfect for up to 4 people with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room, this well-stocked and recently updated unit features all the comforts of home including a propane grill & picnic tables in backyard (shared area with other guests), central air, kids Pack ‘n Play, and a well-stocked kitchen perfect for cooking any meal.

Free washers and dryers (2 each) makes quick work of laundry, and for EV drivers, a newly installed 40A Level 2 EV Charger ensures your car is topped off and ready for adventure!

***Note this unit has an Ecobee thermostat and we adjust it from an app as requested. The thermostat controls the entire building.

*** There is a doorbell camera mounted at the entryway of the building for security purposes.

Great stay at picture rocks

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Great town and area, great location of house.i did not like people changing their cars all hours of the day and night outside of the kitchen window, there also seemed to be a musty smell at times. Overall we had a nice week.

Great location and property

Great location in the heart of Munising. It's one block off M-28 and at the edge of downtown Munising. The unit itself was nice, with one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room with a pullout bed. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. I would stay here again.

A pleasant stay.

It was a nice relaxing stay. There were no bad surprises. The place was cute and clean. It was right in the heart of town and we were able to walk everywhere.

Last Minute Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was in need of a place to stay and walked into the Pictured Rocks Real Estate office and they helped me immediately. I only needed a night at first but then extended my stay. They were quick to respond. The rental was cozy and I loved the coffee they provided!

Great location. Near many shops, restaurants, waterfalls, sand dunes, pictured rock and beautiful Lake Superior. Property was very clean and spacious.

Convenient accommodations in Munising

Small, basic apartment with excellent location to see Pictured Rocks or hike. Comfortable bed, nice shower, nicely appointed kitchen, and small living area with a great Roku TV

Perfect location

This property was clean, easy to find, and was a perfect starting point each day for visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We especially liked that we could walk to restaurants, coffee shops and the bay. Parking was always available next to the property. A manager was easy to reach when we had questions.

Girl getaway

Location was perfect! I came to hike and bike and spend time on Lake Superior beaches. The location was in close proximity to 100’s of outdoor activities and convenient for all modern conveniences- food, groceries, etc. The space was clean, comfortable and I felt safe as a single woman. Communication was excellent and checking in was a breeze. Thank you!

Convenient place, necessities provided

Don't be fooled by the rough exterior. This is a fine little apartment close to everything you need downtown. Owner and property manager couldn't have been more responsive. Had some trouble with wifi but they worked on it and fixed it pronto. Laundromat a few blocks away. Close enough to town waterfront to walk down for happy hour at a picnic table.

Great location!

The one bedroom apartment was in the heart of downtown. I love the location. The only area of improvement was the temperature. The temperature of the apartment averaged 74 to 75 degrees. We had to open up windows for a breeze and the air quality was poor outside. I recommend setting the temperature lower and to have 2 tall oscillating fans, 1 for the bedroom and 1 for the living room. The towel rack in the bathroom needs to be fixed as well.

Perfect location

This was my first time taking a trip with my son and staying in a VRBO. The location is perfect. There’s a lot to do in Munising. I like that my teenager could stay back at the VRBO and I could walk around downtown or to the water. You know how teens are. The place is clean. The fold out couch was comfortable; however, it was a little tricky getting it to lay flat and to fold it back into the couch. Just a heads up on that. The house is old. Everything has been updated inside. The floor is uneven in the kitchen. If you open a cupboard or the refrigerator door is shut because of the slant. But none of that deterred us from recommending this place to friends and family. I love the fact that there was a fan in the closet. Overall, excellent stay.

Quaint downtown Munising location

We enjoyed our stay at River Birch. The Pictured Rocks are is stunning! Everything's within walking distance and very convenient. The small yard was nice and fenced in the grill was great. The unit is just a specified with a nicely stocked kitchen. They had a toaster, blender, K-Cup coffee maker, spices and plenty of cookware. It's was a smaller than expected unit, my husband and I felt a bit cramped in the full-sized bed, small bedroom without much room for your luggage and the bathroom is tiny. It's unfortunate they don't have designated parking for the rental. Be prepared, the weekends get very busy there, with little privacy. Not getting check-in details until late the night before arrival felt very last minute. 24 hours ahead would be nicer. Overall we were happy there but we'd definitely choose something with more breathing space outside of the downtown area next time.

Pictured Rocks Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Can’t beat the location, right in the heart of downtown Munising. We were able to walk to our cruise & the local businesses. We highly recommend ByGeorge Brewery across the street as well! Good drinks, live music, and games. Hosts were also very accommodating allowing us to check in early once we arrived into town. The apartment did have a smell when you first entered, but you didn’t notice it after a minute. I assume the complex has been around a long time, nothing the management company can do about that. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be able to come back one day!
