Relax at this classic beach cottage.

Perfect beach retreat for making memories at Emerald Isle! This classic beach cottage is located on a quiet street in the heart of Emerald Isle. Short walk or bike ride to restaurants, grocery stores, mini golf. Two beach access areas, one is a 2-3 minute walk the other is a 5 minute walk ( see photos ). Beach wagon provided for transporting all your beach essentials. Spacious, shaded back yard with a built in fire pit is perfect for relaxing after a day of fun in the sun. Also a great place to grill up your favorite catch of the day and dine under the stars. Well equipped kitchen open to the living room and dining area. Take an afternoon siesta or enjoy drinks before dinner on the screened porch, accessed through the master bedroom or from the patio. You will love the spacious master bedroom complete with a king sized bed. There are two additional bedrooms, one with a queen size bed the other with full size bunk beds. Two additional twin beds are in a room that serves as a walkthrough to the master bedroom addition. Two updated baths complete this island cottage. Your health and safety are a priority to us. Our home is cleaned with Microban, Clorox, and Lysol products.

Quiet Spot Near Beach

This is our second year staying with our kids and grandkids. We most like that it' is only 3-4 steps to getting into the house and everything is on one floor. - important for my husband who hates steps. The location is a very short (low traffic) walk to the beach. A beach wagon is available to carry your gear. Speaking of beach gear, there is a closet full of beach chairs and water toys. Also, on the beach, the Bogue Island Pier is only a 15-20 minute walk. Out back is a nice outdoor hot/cold water shower that is fully enclosed for privacy. Attached hose is good for feet washing and cleaning sandy chairs and toys. We find the house very comfortable. The furnishings are nice and comfortable. Quality mattresses, sheets, and towels. The bathrooms and bedrooms were nice. My husband wanted to suggest the addition of a hall tree or something added to the master bedroom to hang his shirts on. There are lots of drawers, however. The kitchen, living room, dining area is a large open space for everyone to gather. The kitchen is well outfitted for us. I would just add an electric griddle. I usually travel with mine since we enjoy pancakes during vacation. There were plenty of kitchen staples available for anything that I forgot to bring. Also, used the card table and chairs for puzzles. We completed 3 during our stay. The owner was always quick to reply. We made fast friends last year with the property manager. It was good to see Jim again!

Great for family vacation

This property was amazing! The house had a great layout and easily accommodated 5 people. There was everything that was needed for the beach. The kitchen was well equipped. I loved that this property was pet friendly as well. Corinne was very responsive to any questions that we had and the property manager was helpful as well. We could hear the waves for the porch and patio. This was an awesome place to stay, thank you Corinne for sharing you vacation home with us.

Close to the beach!

The house is adorable and was perfect for our family of 5. Inside was clean and well-kept. The back yard is cute, but it is a bit overgrown with leaves, ivy, and lots of bugs (ants and spiders), so we didn’t spend any time in the back. Not sure what kind of wildlife (like snakes?) that we would encounter, so we just didn’t go back there to be safe. One morning, there was a beautiful deer in the back yard, which was nice! The house is only a few minutes to walk to the beach, which is beautiful! Overall, we had a great stay, and we would definitely stay there again.

The cottage is in an ideal location: family oriented and quiet with easy access to a quiet part of the beach. Local shops, grocery stores and theater are a 5 minute walk away. This rental answered all of our needs

Great time, close to the beach!!!

House was awesome. Had a couple of issues but, Jim the PM got right back to me and it fixed quickly… Beach chairs, wagon, and gas grill all were used and nice to have. Definitely would stay there again next time we go to the Emerald Isle area!!!!

Beach Retreat

Very comfortable and welcoming home! Best stocked kitchen I’ve seen in a rental! Cozy bedrooms with lots of room to relax and enjoy. Great location in a quiet neighborhood and very close to shopping and yummy restaurants.

Peaceful Getaway

I searched for a while for a perfect place for what we were looking for. Peaceful, private, near beach and reasonable. We found the cottage the perfect place! Minutes walk to private beach access, less than mile walk down beach to pier, most comfortable home to relax and regroup. Backyard has fireplace and relaxing atmosphere as well. Love the place, the stay and hope to rebook again next year! Go ahead book it, you won’t be disappointed!

Great place to stay with kids and grandparents. Having so few steps in and out was great. Walkable to several attractions, stores, and restaurants. Very comfortable and had a great visit.

Wonderful multi generation vacation home

3 generations (1.5 years to 70) quite comfortably spread out with rooms and beds for every family situation. Very much appreciated the well provisioned kitchen, open one level floor plan with lots of different areas (decks, back garden, screen porch) to gather or retreat to for quiet. Beach an easy walk, putt putt for kids an easy walk, grocery, pharmacy, restaurants, and souvenir shopping all within walking or quick drive. Thank you for a lovely experience that we look forward to revisiting in the future.

Our stay at the cottage was amazing. So cozy and relaxing. The walk to the beach is easy the house was clean and the owner and property manager communicated well. We can’t wait to come back and stay. Our family enjoyed this property.

Family trip

We really loved this house. It was clean and nice, but not so uptight that you can’t be comfortable. The bed in the “main” bedroom was very comfortable and the room spacious, the bath towels were thick and fluffy, the kitchen was well equipped. The shower in the main bedroom was impressive with several shower heads and room to move. The water pressure was good. There were 5 of us and our dog, and we had plenty of space to be together and to spread out when we needed. The fire pit is a nice touch, I wish we had had time to use it. Yes, the screened porch is off the main bedroom, but it’s nice to be able to wake up and sit outside without disturbing the rest of the house, or even take the dog out back for a wee. The property manager was friendly and close by, and the owner was very responsive. The neighborhood is close to the bridge so you aren’t sitting in traffic to get up the island, amenities very close by. It’s walking distance to shops and putt putt. The distance to the beach isn’t bad at all. It’s a definite walk to the beach, but it isn’t any more than about a 5 minute walk to the sandy access point. Very easy walk, and at times, you can hear the waves from the front porch. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect

The location was amazing, the house was perfect. What a beautiful place to visit and it was so relaxing to just hear the waves from the porch while drinking my morning coffee. It was only a short walk away to get to the beach. We had plenty of room for our family of 5. Thanks for this great family trip!

Everything was wonderful!

Well appointed property that had everything we needed and more. Clean and welcoming! Thanksgiving meal prep and celebration was a breeze as the kitchen is well equipped. All rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Bathrooms are beautiful with each having a skylight, lovely tile work and countertops. The master suite is beautiful and a nice place to unwind. Wonderful back courtyard with in ground fire pit. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. Given the opportunity, we would definitely visit again. Great accommodations and close to everything "to do" on the island including shopping and the beach. Simply wonderful!

Disappointed

The fire pit was the saving grace. Property further from the beach than we expected. A screened in back porch is advertised as a feature but to access it from inside you must pass through 2 bedrooms which was not convenient. The main TV didn’t work but the property mgr. was able to fix it however the next day the same issue, “ weak or no signal”, occurred so we gave up. We felt the furniture was old and worn out for the rates charged. In summary we do not feel we got our moneys worth .

Lovely house in Emerald Isle

Wonderful time. Short walk to beach. Easy place to stay on a very quiet street. Easy trip to restos, Publix and more. I would consider adding lighter weight more comfy beach chairs to provide. Otherwise great spot!!

The property was just as photographed. Super close to the beach which we loved! It was larger and more open than we thought too. We would definitely stay there again!

One-level living at its best

Terrific location within walking distance to beach and shops. Cute property with lovely master suite & very comfy bed. The screened in porch was a great spot for morning coffee. Love having everything on one level and if you have babies/toddlers or seniors with you this is definitely a plus. My only complaint: our vacation was too short!

Tremendous week in Emerald Isle!!

Corinne, We had a wonderful week at your home in Emerald Isle. The location was excellent with a very short walk to the beach and the home was clean and spacious with plenty of room for the whole family. The location also offered easy access for my son and daughter at Camp Lejeune and Fort Bragg. Everyone had pkenty of space in the 4 bedrooms and annd we all loved the huge shower in the Master with all the shower heads!! Your manager on the scene, Jimmy, was readily available if needed, extremely friendly and pleasant. We look forward to going back again next year! Thank you!!
