** Garden and pool maintenance: whenever possible, maintenance is carried out outside of your stay. However, certain situations (last-minute bookings, extended stays, back-to-back stays, etc.) may require a visit during your stay. In this case, we do our best to schedule our team's visits during your outings or activities in the region. Despite our best efforts, the pool remains in contact with nature and may occasionally collect leaves or a little dust (wind, sandy rain). A skimmer net is available for you to easily remove these small items.
Arles and its activities
The house will allow you to discover and visit this Roman city steeped in history, evolving between tradition and modernity. Arles hosts numerous festivities throughout the year, the famous Feria in April and September, the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie during the summer... not to mention the traditional Provençal events that punctuate the lives of the people of Arles. You will also have the opportunity to discover the Luma Tower designed by Frank Gehry.
Arles is ideally located less than an hour from exceptional towns and villages (Les Baux-de-Provence, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Fontvieille, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Avignon, Montpellier, Nîmes, etc.).
The Camargue
It is prized for its climate, its tranquility, its unspoiled beaches, and the richness of its culture, fauna, and flora. From the village of Salin-de-Giraud, just a few kilometers away, you have access to numerous activities: unique horseback riding, kitesurfing, 4x4 safaris, canoeing, kayaking, electric mountain biking, fishing, excursions with a naturalist guide, visits to the salt marshes, etc. And for those less inclined to sports, you can simply enjoy the sun and relaxation on the beaches of Beauduc and Piémanson. The village is also renowned for its history and its way of life. Salt and organic rice are produced there, and Camargue bulls and horses are raised. Life here is punctuated by bullfighting events in the arenas and village festivals, perfect for spending quality time with family, loved ones, and friends.
On arrival, you'll be welcomed by Marie, a true Arles native who knows all the best-kept secrets.
