Enjoy vaulted wood-beam ceilings, expansive bluff views, and inviting spaces designed for comfort and connection. Cozy up in the living room by the fireplace or take in the natural beauty that surrounds you. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create a relaxing, elevated getaway.

The Space

Hidden Hill Retreat provides exceptional comfort with luxury bedding and furnishings throughout. Guests enjoy all-new, high-end mattresses, plush pillows, and down comforters for a restful night’s sleep.

The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area features a 10-person dining table, thoughtfully designed for comfortable gatherings and time together.

Newly renovated bedrooms and bathrooms provide comfortable space for your group.

Outdoor Living Spaces

Enjoy dining al fresco or relaxing with scenic bluff views. A propane Weber gas grill with propane is provided for guest use.

Lower-Level Rec Room

Perfect for fun and downtime with a ping pong table, board games, and a Smart TV. Stay active with in-home fitness equipment including dumbbell weights, mats, and resistance bands.

Other details to note:

Our home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, so we ask guests to keep this in mind when booking. We want everyone to have a peaceful and enjoyable stay—both our guests and our neighbors.

We operate with a city-issued short-term rental permit and have a few guidelines in place to help ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

- The primary renter must be at least 30 years old

- No parties or events: This includes bachelor or bachelorette gatherings

- Quiet hours are from 7 AM - 10 PM (city ordinance)

- No more than 10 guests on the property at any time

- Fire safety: Due to our wooded setting, fires, fireworks, portable fire pits, and portable grills are not permitted. A propane gas grill (with propane provided) is available for guest use

- No smoking or Drugs: Smoking is not permitted inside or outside the property

- No pets

Comfortable and beautiful home. We saw plenty of wildlife outside the many windows in the home. Very well stocked with everything you’ll need to make your stay easy and stress free. My family stayed in this house for our son's wedding weekend. He got married at Celebrations and the house was within their shuttle bus radius. The location is beautiful. The dining table was set up for ten people to sit comfortably on chairs around it, with an amazing view of the bluff. There was a large den on the lower level with a full bath which is where we hung out to watch football on the giant screen TV. The bathrooms were immaculate with everything you need found in the drawers if you forgot something. There were small washcloths in both black, for makeup removal, and white for showering - this is a nice touch and a big deal for me. We used the outdoor gas grill and would have been outside on the patio if not for the rain. The kitchen was fully stocked for ten people with high end appliances and a gas stove. There is a set of several stairs going up to the main house so it would be difficult for a person with mobility issues to navigate, but the lower level does have a pull-out sofa bed if needed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Hidden Hill Retreat is an amazing stay in the LaCrosse area. My family of 10 enjoyed a long weekend here and fell in love with the house. The host is proactive, communicative, and very helpful. Check in was smooth and easy, and the home was beautiful, organized, and clean. The property was also stocked with everything we needed from plenty of kitchen supplies, bedding, pillows, soaps and bathroom products, etc. The beds were comfy and space was plentiful. We enjoyed meals with beautiful views from the windows and chats outside on the patio. We hope to return again and would definitely recommend this stay to others!

This is a stunningly beautiful home. It is decorated like a home out of House Beautiful with lovely decor and artwork. The kitchen is well stocked and the dining room table is large enough for all guests, sharing a meal or a game. The beds were so comfortable and the linens of very high quality. It felt like we were in a mountain resort. We were treated to a firefly show out the floor to ceiling windows on our last night! Hopefully we can return.

We loved our stay at Hidden Hill with our family. This was our 2nd stay here for a family reunion in the area and it was just as great as our first stay. We love this house so much that we added extra days to our stay before and after the reunion. This is a beautiful clean house with lots of room to move about. It has everything you need. It's so great that all the bedrooms are on the first floor. We hope to return again for a 3rd stay! Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful property & comfy bedding!

The house was beautiful inside and out. A lot of space (balcony/deck was super nice) plenty of space for larger groups to enjoy each other’s company! The bedding was amazing, very nice mattresses and pillows!

Beautiful House for Family Stay!

From the time of booking, communication with the property manager was fantastic, and that continued through check-in and our entire stay. The house was beautiful, clean, and so well stocked and organized. We already are looking at booking for next year! Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near La Crosse.

Wedding Bliss

Tiffany was wonderful! She made our trip to La Crosse to celebrate a family wedding fantastic! She was quick to reply with answers when something came up and made us feel very welcome. The property and house are stunning! The pictures on the website aren’t able to reflect the true beauty of the home. The house had everything we needed for our family, including a large table with plenty of seating, multiple living areas, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. We were too busy with wedding celebrations to truly enjoy the beauty of the property. We’ll have to come back!

Beautiful Home!

We loved every minute at Hidden Hill! Our family enjoyed all the comforts of home in this beautiful retreat, with all the conveniences one could ask for. There were 10 of us, ages 4 to 71, and we all felt so comfortable. We appreciated all the amenities, and we loved the beautiful views of trees and bluffs from every room, from the patio, and from the spacious deck. We hope to stay again, and in the meantime, we'll have wonderful memories of our fun La Crosse reunion while staying in such a wonderful, welcoming home. Thank you!

Fabulous Stay & Time

So happy we choose to stay at Hidden Hill, came to town to visit our daughter who attends Winona State and wasn’t able to come home for Easter. The house is spectacular!! Accommodating 7 of us, with more than enough space to spread out. And to have it include everything we needed. We've stayed at a lot of VRBO's and this is one of the best!! Do not pass this one up.. not a better place to stay in the area!! Thank you, Tiffany, for the hospitality!! 5 STARS

The house is amazing, beautiful and welcoming. It is a great space for gathering, sharing meals, playing games, and laughing. The interior design and thought to details is impressive from the main area that had perfectly placed furniture, tables, blankets, etc to the downstair, with the ping pong table, and closet of extra blankets. Cleaniness!

Our family gets together every year around Christmas time and we happen to pick this property. Perfectly located away from the busy city but close enough to go have a yummy meal and do a little shopping. The house was clean and had lots of amenities. We will be back!

House was beautiful. Beds were very comfy , room for 9 women easily. They thought of everything , from a forgotten toothbrush to coffee. Easy check in and extremely accommodating allowing us an early check-in and late check-out.

The house was even more beautiful than the pictures. There is so much room in this house & on the deck area. We have never stayed in a VRBO that was this equipped. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook, had coffee & tea & even things like zip loc bags & Saran Wrap. There was a good selection of games. There were even things like a first aid kit, toothbrushes & toothpaste. It was stocked with locally made soap, shampoo, conditioner & body wash. We all bought some the store’s products to bring home. We highly recommend this property.,Great communication from the owners & a beautiful home.

This property was excellent for our group of three adult couples. The kitchen is a little small, but the living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent. It was clean, well stocked, and professionally maintained.

Welcome to Hidden Hill Retreat! We are two sisters (Nikki and Tiffany) born and raised in La Crosse. This is our family retreat, and we are happy to share our home with folks with ties to the La Crosse area. We are proud of our hometown and all the region has to offer.
