The spacious double balconies are comfortably furnished for you to spend some time devouring your beach read, chatting with your friends and family, or just taking in your tropical palm tree-filled surroundings.

Instigate some family bonding time over dinner - the modern kitchen has everything you need to cook up your favorites. Sink into the luxe sofa and watch some Netflix on the TV. When the temperatures rise, you can return home to that central air-conditioning's cool comfort. Younger guests will love the excitement of having bunkroom accommodations.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great house in a great location

The house was clean and worked great for a group of 7. It is minutes from the beach walking and close to everything downtown. The little lagoon is just a couple minutes drive as well. Everything was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

The house was very clean! The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and kitchen had everything we needed! Bonus of a great washer and dryer for dirty baseball clothes! Great place and just a walk away from the beach!

Neptune's Nook was exactly as pictured on the website. I would stay there again.

It was clean and roomy and up to date on decorations. Its super close to the beach and was a great place for us and our dogs. The West side provides more of a quite atmosphere that we enjoyed.

Wonderful stay!!

The location was perfect! Just right across the street to the beach. We were worried about taking the kids across the road, but the traffic was not bad at all and the crosswalk was very much honored. Just enough room and we were at full capacity. We will definitely book again!

The home was nestled behind a road front property, but that was kind of nice.Ocean view from 2nd floor balcony, kitchen was stocked nicely with coffee pot, Kuerig and kettle to meet anyones needs. Had a great time and easy walk to the beach.

Lovely home!

This was the second summer my family stayed in this home and we loved both trips! Perfect location with a quick walk to the beach and many peaceful mornings spent on the balcony! Our only small complaint is the bunk beds are not too comfy and could use tightening up and new mattresses for comfort. Overall, amazing home, clean and great location. Highly recommend.

Wonderful location!

This house has the perfect location with only a 2 min walk to the beach. You can see the ocean from the upstairs queen bedroom - the house itself was just okay. The upstairs queen bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, the bunk beds feel like they’re about to fall apart and only have an inch of railing on the top bunk because the mattress is too thick, we could not let the kids sleep on the top bunks so they ended up having to share the bottom bunks. Only 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom and 2 dishwasher pods for a 5 day stay. Overall it got the job done, check in/out was easy, location was great, price was not bad, amenities can use improvement.

Wonderful house! Great location!

Neptune’s nook was a beautiful house with plenty of space for our family of 7 + my parents! We loved being able to walk right across the street to the beach! The only complaint we have is that the washer was not in working order. When we made Vacasa aware they said they would send someone to look at it, when someone finally did come he stated that they already knew the washer was broken and it had been an ongoing issue. We were issued a small refund for the inconvenience which was nice, we just wish he had known prior to book that the washer wouldn’t be available.

Nice location!

This was our second time visiting Gulf Shores, AL. The location was good with easy access to the beach but the house itself had some issues. The stairway going in the house is dark when you go in at night, the locks on the sliding glass doors to the balcony were hard to lock and unlock, someone got stuck in the downstairs bathroom because of the pocket door mechanics, and the shower handle fell off on me towards the end of the trip. I will say the kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and appliances. I did do a lot of cooking that week and it had everything we needed. Overall it was a decent house, but I did prefer our previous stay much more!

Beautiful home, cleanliness issues

First the positives. We came in and the pictures are very accurate. The house is decorated very nicely. The couch reclines on both ends. The TV in the living room has cable plus its a roku like the other tvs to sign into streaming apps if needed. Lots of dishes and cookware. The view on the second deck is gorgeous. Location seemed safe, easy walk to the public beach access. We didn't make use of the grill or the features below the home but it looked a nice little area as well. One bed was more firm and one more soft, which is great. Washer and dryer in unit is awesome. Ceiling fans were good, hot water was awesome. Water pressure is good. Bathrooms were clean. Now to the negatives. The place was pretty dirty, we took a baby wipe to the couch and it turned a different color, and we spent the rest of the first day just cleaning things. The dishwasher had food still left in it, we didn't clean that because that was too much and we paid a cleaning fee. We had to wipe all the tables because there were visible fingerprints which meant poor sanitization during covid. There were handprints on the doors which again meant little sanitization. There was a giant pink line and a few other stains on the sheets. Food crumbs on the stove. The floor left all our feet black, so we cleaned that as well. There was sand in the bed downstairs. The pillows were not comfortable at all. There were some stains on the couch and the walls. Overall once they get the cleaning lined out the home is great, great location and pretty solid overall. Pretty high fees for the substandard level of cleanliness though. To their credit they did refund some, but honestly we just didn't want to fight it anymore. The property manager was very nice, but it just fell short in that area. Especially given the 10 am checkout and 4 pm check in. Pretty ample time to clean very thoroughly. One other note, the steps outside and inside are steep. For little ones that may be an issue, but that's a lot of homes out there. Just wanted to let families know that as we don't see it mentioned yet. We would consider this again because it's really close to being an amazing home, just gotta get the kinks out and be better.

Love the house. Love location. Love the close beach access. Beautiful home. House cleaning could’ve been better. Fingerprints, dust, sand in the bed, snack food left in cabinet, dirty q-tip in dresser, balcony doors don’t lock and shower door needs fixed downstairs because water goes out which will cause major damage if not fixed.
