Great location, close to many restaurants, basement apartment was very cozy, tricky decent to apartment door but overall would stay again. Jad very friendly.

DC trip

Check-in and check-out was super easy. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the temperature was perfect even at night. The location was great and after being in the city all day it was nice to return to a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect space and location

Everything was perfect. Great space, location, and host. So many things in the area, and a quick drive to DC and other things in the area. The host was very helpful with great suggestions of local things to do.

The location is in a great neighborhood with a great host and excellent communication. There is easy access to the metro to DC to view sights. Would stay again.

The property was as listed, although the entrance was difficult. You'll need someone capable of backing your vehicle on a pretty steep driveway. The stone path was, as stated, not for those with mobility issues, but even without issues it was uneven and poorly lit making it challenging - bring a flashlight.The kitchen was fully equipped though with little counter space and a tiny kitchen sink (smaller than a large plate). The game room was impressive - it was more than twice the size of the bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom combined!This is a basement area, so the utilities for the house are in the space (behind a screen). That's not a problem but you can hear the duct flaps banging open when it comes on. The HVAC was generally noticable, noise-wise, but effective. Could be an issue for light sleepers.The bathroom, like the kitchen, was adequate but lacked counter space for toiletries. It was small but complete.A comfortable and secluded space in a quiet area. A very nice setting and close to the main roads.

Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, the bedroom is fully separate from the kitchen and has its own private door, as clearly shown in the listing photos and description. The layout and features of the space are accurately represented so guests know exactly what to expect. As noted in the listing, this is a private, well-equipped basement suite offering great value and location, not a hotel or resort-style property. The driveway and stone-step entrance are also disclosed in advance. While some guests may find them challenging, many have no issue, this ultimately depends on personal comfort and experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the quiet setting and proximity to main roads.

The owner is very nice and responded promptly to any questions we had.

The property is very nice and the backyard is gorgeous. It is filled with trees and there is a stone path that leads to a creek.

Perfect for the 3 of us!

This basement unit was well-equipped with everything we needed, and conveniently located outside of DC. Travel into the city to sightsee took less than 30 min. The backyard is beautiful, and it was a quiet and peaceful stay.

Quiet neighborhood with nearby shopping/dining. Clean and comfortable 1 bdrm basement walkout. Owner was very accommodating and personable. Would stay again when in this area.
