There’s something truly special about the small-town beach charm that Bethany and Dewey offer. Unlike the busier, more crowded beaches in New Jersey, these coastal gems provide a sense of peace and relaxation that’s perfect for families. The uncrowded shores, friendly faces, and slower pace create an atmosphere where you can truly unwind and make lasting memories.
We’re originally from Chester County, PA, where we still live most of the year. But the beaches here, with their dog-friendly attitude and welcoming community, captured our hearts and felt like the perfect escape from daily life. We’ve spent countless mornings walking along the shoreline with our dogs, afternoons exploring the local shops, and evenings indulging in amazing restaurants.
Speaking of dining, the food here is a highlight of every visit. From fresh seafood shacks to cozy bistros and family-owned eateries, there’s something for every palate. We’ve worked hard to make this a welcoming retreat for our guests, fully equipped with conveniences like a well-stocked kitchen, multiple coffee brewing options, and more, so you can walk in and start enjoying your vacation immediately.
The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, offering a safe environment where kids can ride bikes, enjoy the nearby playground, or explore the walking paths—perfect for a leisurely stroll or walking your dog.
The highlight of the community is the world-class clubhouse, which includes indoor and outdoor pools with spas, a fitness center overlooking the bay, a game room with classic arcade games, billiards, and ping pong. There’s also a massive great room for gatherings, a bar, and an outdoor grill area.
