Our prime location is close to the iconic Big Store and situated right on the stretch of beach that hosts all the exciting local events. Enjoy convenient access to shops, restaurants, golf cart rentals, and all the festivities that make this area truly special!

There are many places where you can rent a golf cart. We usually recommended Texas Custom Carts!



Other Things to Note:

Kindly rinse off sand and sunscreen from your feet and body before entering the hot tub for a cleaner, more enjoyable experience. This will allow the hot tub to stay freshest for the longest! Due to the Internet options on the Peninsula, we do recommend trying to bring a hot spot if work heavy! Thank you for understanding!

Worth it

So, to start upon arrival house needs a good deep cleaning (had to sweep when arrived and there was long white dog hair everywhere, assuming owners dog because it was under couches and beds lol not an issue to me though because I don’t mind pets and appreciated being able to bring my littles ). Could use a little TLC (window screen broken, needs updated painting everywhere, and mold in upstairs bathtub but it was still beautiful overall. Couldn’t get upstairs tv to work it had a remote to a fire stick tv but there was only a directv box attached - messaged in Vrbo and they said to look downstairs where projector was for the fire stick but couldn’t even locate that so I just let it go because they did mention previous guests could have taken it. Then we lost power one night for about 4 hours and the smoke detector started going off but it wasn’t an issue at all because we got to sit outside and watch fireworks and enjoy the breeze and we also disconnected the smoke detector (they could use new batteries too think) but everything was great, beautiful place, close to the beach, family enjoyed it and appreciated being able to stay there with our pets as well.

Amazing Location and hosts!

The property was amazing with a beautiful view of the ocean and just 3 houses away from the beach! It perfectly accommodated my family and had plenty of games for everyone to play. Great place for kids and baby friendly. One thing I will note though is that there were some issues and hiccups with the property after we checked in that was mostly due to the previous guests but Will and the management team were very quick to respond to our requests and had people out fixing all of the issues extremely fast! One of the best communications with a property management team and it made the stay and process enjoyable! We will definitely be back again soon!!!

Great Easter Weekend

We absolutely loved this house. It was my son’s birthday over Easter weekend and this house was amazing. The boys had a blast at this property. The location to beach, hot tub, bunk room, fire pit, yard games all made their weekend. The downstairs area is amazing to hang out underneath. The house itself is very cozy. A/C was cold and rooms were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great Home and Stay

The owner of the home is very responsive and helpful. This house is absolutely gorgeous and has everything that you could need. We had a few questions during our stay and the owner was very responsive via the app. The home is very close to the beach and a good location overall. My kids and whole family enjoyed the stay! Definitely recommend this house.

Nice Rental

We enjoyed a great holiday weekend at Sunset Paradise beach house! The hosts have provided some nice touches and provisions that are sometimes lacking in house rentals, such as comfortable beds, pillows and nice linens and towels, that were much appreciated! The projector screen was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The house needs a little TLC, but overall a great stay!!!

Annual Family Summer Beach Trip

I will start with we enjoyed our family beach trip & for the most part the house had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for our family & we enjoyed the downtime for sure! The kitchen was well stocked & the big store just down the road was a great little spot to pick up odds & ends. Any communication needed with the owners was quick, friendly & they were very responsive. While the keypad didn’t work at checkin, the owners had provided a backup before hand, so we were able to get in without issue. We had booked the place in part to use the golf cart, which wasn't working for our stay. The details were shared on day 2 of the stay & the owners did give us the option to rent one & then be reimbursed to make up for the inconvenience, but after already paying for the stay itself, it just wasn't an option for us. So we decided to walk the short distance to the beach & that worked out fine being it's quite close. The only recommendations I have, is a deep clean & a good walk through of the home. We found food on the kitchen counters & on a few plates from the previous occupants. Not anything we couldn't wipe down & throw in the dishwasher, but ideally would have been great if we didn't have to. There were several lights burnt out that need replacing & I would recommend some updating to the areas that need attention like the bed in the shell room & the ceiling in the living room where the can lights are coming loose & boards are displaced. But great owners & we had fun!

Birthday getaway

Overall the stay was comfy. All though the only down side for us was the fencing. In the pictures it looked like the whole downstairs was fenced in but was not. The first day we tried to take out our boxer he took off running to next yard. Other houses we’ve rented had the whole downstairs fenced in. But once we got the dogs in the gates area they were ok. There were a few minor things that needed fixing for example lights in kitchen went out so was dark when we were in kitchen. The communication was great with contact. Golf cart was a plus along with grill and projector. They all worked great. Thanks again !😊

Crystal Beach

Upon arrival the keypad was dead. Owner response was immediate . I was instructed where a soars key was kept. The golf cart had wrong key . Owner sent out the property manager immediately. Went for ride on golf cart and the rear seat broke off . The maintenance guy showed up quickly to temporarily fix. We didn’t use the black stone because it had rust around edges and wasn’t properly cleaned. The projector wouldn’t work . We had two audio ppl with us and talked with owner on phone. Never got it to work. The home is a beautiful home with plenty room for everyone. I felt like it needs some work following the summer season. It’s showing wear and tear and needs enterior paining. Several cabinet door hinges are broke leaving doors hanging. The cleaning is not deep clean-just surface cleaning. Kitchen sink is very stained around the drain. and where unddrmount and counter meet. Under the sink is very dirty. The lower cupards are a mess with everything just thrown in there hard to find anything. The stove top knobs have no numbers of how to operate the heat. The bathroom toilet brushes are discusting-very dirty and stained. These should be disposable. The bacteria gets passed from one renter to another with dirty brushes. The plastic shower curtains are also dirty with mildew/rust. Over all it was a nice stay and owners are super nice and responsive. We were refunded some money for the inconveniences. The cost is too high for overall cleanliness.

Excellent beach house

When the property states “everything you need is on site” trust me it is accurate. The most well stocked place we’ve ever visited from inside the kitchen to the garage that came equipped with beach toys! Thanks for hosting our family for our family beach vacation. The property owners / agents responded very quickly and professionally to every question I had making our overall experience the best.

Beautiful Home and Location

This home was beautiful and very well equipped. We were six adults, one baby and two toddlers. It was very important that the home was childproofed. Lots of supplies. A couple of things that could have been better: several lights were out in at least one of the bathrooms; most of the lamps in living area were unplugged and we were not able to find plugs; a bedside lamp in one of the king rooms didn’t have a knob - it had been twisted off I think. These are small things and would be easily fixed. Also only had one bath towel per person for four days. We would stay here again as it was a beautiful house. Loved the outside yard for our dogs and the lift to get all luggage and groceries upstairs. Also made use of the golf cart. Thank you for letting us stay … we loved it.

Amazing house and Amazing host!

This is a beautiful beach house right on a beach access street! When we showed up the golf cart was broken. But one phone call and arrangements were made for a replacement! Just like that the host jumped into action to fix the issue and within the hour we had a replacement cart! We had an amazing stay and will definitely book this house again! Thank you!

Ideal for families

The property host was very attentive. The house has every amenity that you'll need. There was plenty for our young kids to do including making smores by the outdoor pit. We'll be back.

Christmas freeze

The weather was freezing and the entire island was without power during parts of this stay. Our host was amazing and kept us informed of what was happening and offered as much help as they could. The understood we could not stay in those conditions and accommodated us. The house was beautiful and we will definitely go back!

Great time at Sunset Paradise!

We had a great family get away at Sunset Paradise!! Plenty of room for the whole family, the fenced area was a plus for our dog, made s’mores at the large fire pit, but the best was watching the World Series game on the down stairs big screen!! We would definitely book here again!

Extended beach weekend

We rent several times a year in Crystal Beach and this by far is the best home we have stayed in. The amenity list is long and does not disappoint. We enjoyed grilling dinner downstairs on the blackstone grill while watching the Astros game followed by s’mores and some cornhole. So much fun we did this a second night with yet another Astros game on the projector. The tiki bar is a great set up along with the hanging chairs. A place for everyone to hang out separately or together without missing any of the fun. The golf cart was a great addition for our family to enjoy though you are so close, one can easily walk to the beach. We set up our pop up tent daily within eye shot of the house which was lovely. The balconies both have beach views which is great and the outdoor furniture was lovely to enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The hallway bunk is cute and a great place to crash out as is the living room futon comfortable. This home literally has two master suites and another upstairs bunk room/ queen beds which is great for kids/teens or a family to enjoy. Lots of locations to sleep, all of which are comfortable. The kitchen is well outfitted, better than mine at home. I planned to make a birthday cake and forgot my pans, but the home had multiple cake pans to use which was pleasantly surprising. All appliances were in working order, all meals were easily prepared and nothing was missing that you would need for a casual or fancy dinner. We will definitely come back to enjoy this home and all it has to offer. We made some great memories, had a fun family birthday celebration and enjoyed the beach. Family Vacation

Beautiful location with easy beach access. A couple minor hiccups that were quickly resolved thanks to the owners being very prompt and responsive to concerns. A little disappointed with the cleanliness (ie. Floors were dirty upon arrival, dusty/cobwebs/mold in a few areas, old/partially eaten food my toddler found hidden in kitchen cabinets, etc). Overall this property was very nice and easily accommodated two couples and two young children.

The house is adorable

The house was perfect for our group. It was a great location with easy access to the beach. There were a few maintenance items that we had to work through that caused more time and energy than we had hoped- before we arrived the elevator and refrigerator had been broken, the house manager tried to rectify those issues by providing a different refrigerator which was fine. Unfortunately, the elevator parts had to be ordered so we weren’t able to use it at all. There were several lightbulbs out that she came and replaced and also had to provide the power cords to the tvs as those weren’t working with the missing cords. We also requested an electrician come because the lights would flicker in all bedrooms. The golf cart also had a broken piece that she had someone come and fix. Having to deal with those items while on vacation was a bit frustrating- especially since the manager admitted to knowledge of several of them prior to our stay. While we liked the house, we would probably not stay again due to the maintenance concerns.

Family time

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. The home is WONDERFUL... the pictures online are great, but, the home is even BETTER. It is very well stocked with just about anything you will need to cook your meals there. The owners even supply beach towels. We had 2 issues with our rental. The golf cart would not go in reverse. I reached out to the owner and he quickly responded that if we wanted, we could still use it but we chose not to for fear that something else might happen with it and we would be stranded with little children so that was kind of "let down" for us all. Instead, I purchased a beach sticker and used my personal vehicle to transport our things to and from the beach. Second issue... really kind of "major" and was extremely inconvenient was the refrigerator went out. Again, the owner responded immediately. He literally did everything within his power to remedy this problem. He sent repairmen out twice, but, they were not able to fix it during our stay. Because of supply chain issues, a replacement refrigerator was not possible right at that time. We were lucky and had a couple of ice chests with us and did not lose the majority of the food we had brought with us. I did have to go buy several 40lb bags of ice to keep our food from spoiling and that was a bummer. Although I did not request any refund, the owner refunded me some money. Even though there were some issues during our stay, I would most defiantly, stay there again. This property is beautiful and well cared for... the owner was very supportive and attentive... things just happen sometimes. Our family has rented numerous properties, in several states and even out of the country, and I can honestly say that this owner was one of the most attentive owners that I have dealt with. Do yourself a favor and rent this home, enjoy the beach and all of the wonderful amenities of the property.
