Escape to the enchanting wilderness of Alaska and experience the perfect romantic getaway in our charming mountain bungalow. This intimate retreat is designed for two, offering a peaceful haven amidst the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding mountains.

The bungalow features a comfortable and inviting space, perfect for a couple seeking tranquility and seclusion. Unwind in the cozy living area or snuggle up together to take in the panoramic views of the majestic mountains through large picture windows.

Kitchenette:
Prepare delightful meals for two in the well-equipped kitchenette. It comes complete with essential appliances and utensils, allowing you to cook and savor your favorite dishes while enjoying the stunning natural backdrop just outside.

Bathroom:
The bungalow boasts a modern and private bathroom, providing all the amenities you need to freshen up after a day of exploring the Alaskan wilderness.

Outdoor Space:
Step outside to your outdoor area, where you can immerse yourselves in the serenity of nature. Sip your morning coffee on the manicured lawn while witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over the mountains. In the evenings unwind with a glass of wine as you admire the mesmerizing colors of the sunset.

There is a Farmhouse and another bungalow on the same property.

Door code to access the bungalow will be given right before your stay. Parking in the back of the bungalow

We are not on-site but are available by phone and will respond quickly.

Our Neighborhood is a very quite one. Please remember the quiet hours from 6am-10pm

The property is very close to the highway for easy access to downtown Palmer and Wasilla.

Property is 45 minutes from the Ted Stevens Airport. 10 minutes from the MatSu Regional Hospital. Great restaurants, hiking, fishing, site seeing and more is nearby. Skeetawk Ski area is 15 minutes away. We provide a cooler that you can use for road trips.

We’re so glad to host you—thank you for treating our space with care so everyone can enjoy it.

Guests: This booking is just for the two adults listed. No additional guests are permitted.

Shoes: We ask that shoes be removed inside to help keep the bungalow fresh and cozy.

Firepit Use:

For safety, please do not use the firepit when it’s windy.

Firewood is provided inbetween the bungalows in the fire wood bin.

Before heading to bed, make sure the fire is fully out and the cover is placed back on the pit.

Smoking & Vaping: You’re welcome to smoke or vape outdoors only. Please note: any smoking inside will result in a $500 fee.

Wonderful stay!

I highly recommend staying here. The view was absolutely gorgeous! The bungalow was adorable, clean and very spacious for a studio. It was the perfect place to relax in the evenings after spending the day exploring the surrounding areas.

Comfortable stay with a great view

I was in the area for a couple of days and the Knik Bungalow had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The inside was updated and well-kept. The view is impressive. Would definitely stay there again.

Spectacular!

The owners have thought of everything to make your stay amazing. It's cozy and clean, and the views are perfect. The bungalow is great for two people, and not too far from all the places we wanted to visit. Palmer had more than we guessed as far groceries and restaurants. You likely won't find a better place.

The owners are top notch. They’ve done a really nice job with this property. They’ve added some nice amenities to the beautiful property with stunning views. The bungalow is quaint, clean, and sufficiently sized for 2 people.

Beautiful Quaint Retreat

This bungalow gave us a magnificent view of the mountains surrounding Palmer. We could see the owners paid attention to detail in the construction and furnishings in the bungalow. We enjoyed the privacy of the location while have close access to Palmer and the surrounding area.

Cozy clean bungalow with a view

The Knik bungalow was very cosy, clean, quiet and well-equipped. The location is convenient for the drive along Glenn Hwy, which has the best fall color I have even seen. The hosts are very nice and left a welcoming note and two delicious muffins in the fridge! Highly recommended.

Beautiful Bugalow

Beautiful property and great views of the mountains. We had a fantastic time roasting marshmallows in the campfire and relaxing after a day of hiking. Only downside is hot warm doesn’t last and the bed isn’t as comfortable as I was hoping for

Peaceful retreat

We loved this adorable bungalow! We relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful views outside and everything we needed was provided inside. The owners were quick to respond to messages and provided a perfect place and the snacks left for us were a total bonus! 😊

Beautiful View

The view is amazing and the bungalow is so cute and cozy. The only downside is that you have to take a short shower because the hot water runs out within 15 minutes. Otherwise, this place is wonderful. It's the perfect getaway.

Exactly what I hoped for

I had a great experience here - the bungalow was the epitome of cozy, stylish and well-furnished, including a nice comfy bed. It was great to just hunker down in the bungalow after a busy day and enjoy the view. Instructions and rules are fair and well-communicated, and there were even some delicious complimentary blueberry muffins waiting for me in the fridge! The shower does have pretty limited heat, but it’s hardly a deal-breaker; just gotta wash-up quickly. Definitely recommend this property, and I might even try to stay here again during my next trip to AK.

A mini honeymoon in the mountains

I stayed here the weekend that I got married and I have to say these little bungalows are straight out of a romance novel. The gorgeous inescapable 180 degrees of mountain views that opens up from the front of the cabin can not be had anywhere else on earth to The cozy bed that you never wanted to leave. My favorite moments were cuddled up with a cup of coffee spending time with my husband and watching the mountains outside the side window. The kitchenette was so convienient as I was able to cook most of the meals for our stay. And at night we sat by the fire pit under the sky. I couldn’t imagine any better way to spend the first weekend with my husband on our journey through life. Thank you

This is the place to stay!

Gorgeous Mountain Views, adorable bungalow, well kept grounds, easy check-in and out, centrally located to town and outdoor activities. You can always tell when the owners take pride in their rentals and these owners have accomplished that! Small details were done to make you feel welcome and give you that home away from feel. I will definitely stay here again,
