While we cannot completely eliminate the possibility of encountering insects or roaches in a tropical environment, we do take several measures to mitigate this, including regular professional pest control services scheduled by the resort management. We also clearly disclose this in our listing description and disclosures. We sent our team and a professional pest control to the property soon after the stay to ensure there was no infestation and to ensure future guests have a positive experience. Winter getaway

I loved the location of the resort. Even though they didn't have air conditioning it was perfect. Loved having a washer and dryer in the condo. Beds were very comfortable as well!!!!

Perfect for adult family of 4

Spacious, clean, and quiet! This gem was perfect for our family vacation. This family of four (70s+ and mid 30s) found the property well maintained and the rental big enough for us to spread out and enjoy Aloha-style life. Breathtaking views of the ocean, clean and comfortable beds, and easy access to many beautiful beaches make this quiet getaway one of our favorite rentals.

We have stayed at Hololani many times in several different units. We love the location, views, size of the complex. This was the worse one we’ve ever been in. There were several things wrong, not the least of which cracks and hole in the wall above the hall toilet, this toilet did not flush properly it took at least 3 flushes to get anything down. The property management did come out right out to fix the toilet but it still didn’t work, Several other things, I gave a list to the property management and hopefully they will get these items fixed. We left 4 days early because of the Kona storm, and let know so maybe they will have a chance before the next renters.

Not quite the layout described online

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location was great, the condo amenities were nice, and we enjoyed our view from our room. The only thing was that the one room has zero privacy and very little space from the rest of the rental. The other couple with us couldn’t put their bags in their room because there was simply not enough room.

Amazing Experience!

We were pleasantly surprised. The view from the lenais (balconies) were amazing, you can hear the ocean crashing against the beach I (which can take some getting used to), the pool was clean and the whole unit was beautiful. We loved that there were a few of our favorite restaurants within a short walk. A++ We definitely will be looking to return.

Great view…few amenities.

I rented this property for the view which was awesome. Great price for property. Great view from the bedrooms and the living room. Older property, quiet, nice neighbors. Cons: no beach, (there is a beach 5 minutes down the road) lack of dishes and silverware, no salt, pepper, spices. Not much in walking distance as far as restaurants and things to do. As you get closer to Kaanapali there is more of everything. All and all the place is good, but don’t expect a lot of frills.

Relaxing Oasis

This was our first trip to Maui and we had the most amazing time. We booked HL-B204 through the Maui Paradise Property. We loved that we could open the doors and hear the ocean. (Great sleep machine, Lol.) The view was just amazing, we had a rainbow at least 2 of the mornings during our stay. Great snorkeling area just out back of the complex. We saw turtles, an ell and puffer fish. This unit was very well kept and well furnished from towels to base necessities in the kitchen. Washer and dryer was a decent size, not your typical small apartment washer and dryer.

Kahana

I have no problems with the unit or management. I just wished the there was a beach and that the unit was larger. I fully understand that management has no control over the ocean beating away the shore line. I would have no problem renting here again, just in a larger unit.

Beautiful view

Let me start with the view is as good or better than the pictures! We arrived around 4 pm, by 5 pm we were watching whales. We ended up seeing whales at least half of the days there. We didn't see a turtle until late in the week and we ended up seeing 2. The unit itself is dated and could use an updating. You should have everything you need minus food while there. If you rent a vehicle, FYI, parking is tight. Yes, we would go back.

Great stay but even better view

My family and friends enjoyed our stay. The view to the beach front was simply spectacular. I’m sure we saw a turtle each time were in the balcony. Closest beach was just a few min walk away. Stay provided 6 beach chairs and 6 beach towels that really convenient. We used the couch as a third bed and it was comfy enough to get a good sleep. The shower bath in the guest room did not drain the water. It drains slow enough for the water would stay around ankle high. The stay did not have any AC, but the beachfront waves and multiple fans made it comfortable enough to sleep through the night with no covers. Property management communicated in a timely manner with any questions we had. All in all we enjoyed our stay, it was the view to the ocean though that really heightened our experience. We would definitely come back again.

Could be five star

This place is great in many ways. View, location, proximity to beach, layout etc. The biggest negative is no a/c, and broken screen door. We knew it didn’t have a/c before we booked. We won’t make that mistake again. Fans were provided, but still needs a/c. Also, needs some maintenance like a new screen door for the lanai. It fell right off the first time we opened it and was the main way out to the lanai. Management company did not respond to all texts. The property was in transition from old to new management.
