Exterior

Our pools are heated from NOVEMBER through APRIL and heating is not available from May through October. Pools are heated to a temperature of 82 degrees. Please note that outdoor spas are not hot tubs and will remain the same temperature as the pool. If you are renting from November-April please notify us 10 days prior to your arrival that you would like the pool heated. Pool pumps will shut down automatically if the pool temperature reaches the 70s due to colder weather and will automatically re-engage as temperatures rise. Reheating to 82 degrees after cold weather can take several days based on the severity of the cold spell. Due to Anna Maria Island’s strict noise ordinance pool pumps will not run overnight.

House is in great location near beach and fishing peer. The pool is a plus from the heat of the day. The rooms all have its own bathrooms is wonderful and nice view of the ocean and gulf side. If you stay a week—make time to buy laundry detergent which is not stocked, extra paper towel, shampoo, trash bags, dish soap because it is enough for a couple day stay only. Pots and pans are of poor quality and or not enough if you plan to cook any meals beyond premade. Make sure you shut both doors inside the elevator or else it will jam. They charge you for everything and take a deposits of damages on top of the rental fee. Don’t expect to check in early lock code doesn’t open until 3 minutes past check in time. Yet cleaner is at the house almost an hour before checkin out time making you feel super rushed. Cleaning fee is high yet we walked into the home with wet towels in the roof deck and trash can full to the top with trash as well as pool toys all around the side of the house. House is in great location to just sit back and enjoy the beach and form great memories management should be better.

Beach vibes

No issues with check in, although directions on how to use elevator not clear - only more clear in paperwork in the kitchen, but if you are arriving with elderly parents, luggave, and food - would be much nicer if clearer instructions were available once walming in the front door. As for the kitchen, kitchen faucet is very loose and doesnt shut off properly. Kitchen undermount sink doesn't seem like it is even attached, literally can move the sink around from side to side and back and forth. In the half bath on third level, no towel/towel rod was present, so kind of odd. Dishwasher didnt seem to operate right and mutiple users had the same experience, so was not just one person. What little plastic storage containers that were there, many were missi g so only lids were present. Family room tv did not work, despite having maintenance guy over to fix Joe was great by the way). The tv kept on saying we had to delete apps, so we were not able to use that tv all week. We didn't go there for tv of course, but when raining or trying to watch sports, would have been nice if it worked a little.One beach chair was broken, pool chair also was broken. Sharing these for other renters for awareness. Location was great, house is very nice, in laws loved it...just when paying 13,000 for a week, expect some of these things to not occur.

The house is located on the street but very close to beach access. Sitting on the balcony is not relaxing due to the sound of the traffic unless early in the AM. Small maintenance issues popped up but were resolved quickly by the caretaker. House was accommodating for a large family. The elevator was very convenient for my elderly mother. The house is within walking distance of Bridge Street.

Awesome Vacation Home…but

We stayed at this property over the 4th of July week with a group of 12 including a toddler, smaller children, & teens. Overall the property has a prime location in regard to Historic Bridge Street, an amazing unobstructed view of the Gulf, and a nice pool! While it’s not guaranteed, the garage had a large selection of beach chairs, sand toys, floats, and a beach wagon. There was a good size fridge that was great for cold drinks/snacks for the pool and beach. (Side note- we were told there were no baby items however when we arrived we found a highchair, multiple baby gates, and a pack n play.) Unfortunately there were some issues with our stay. * The dryer (which looked 20 years old and had rust all over the inside) took 3 hours to dry five towels and given there were only 3 towels per room, we desperately needed a solid dryer. We contacted the property company who sent someone to promptly “fix” it twice but neither time did it change. * The ice machine was non functional our entire stay. This issue was also brought up to the company who sent someone out the same day but again the fix wasn’t a fix.* Not necessarily an issue but something to consider- the kitchen was fully stocked dish wise but didn’t have salt and pepper or any other staple items. We have stayed at a few different ocean front properties over the last 5 years so I feel like we have a good idea of realistic expectations and the end all be all for this house is that it’s a GREAT property that just needs love.

Beautiful Home and Location

Awesome location and views! Enjoyed the pool, rooftop and balconies overlooking the Gulf. House was decorated nicely, bedrooms and bathrooms were large and comfortable. Lots of stairs, but elevator came in handy for luggage, groceries, etc. Some maintenace items need to be addressed, which is my reason for four star review.

Fantastic Family Vacation

The property was fabulous, and exceeded our expectations! The view was spectacular from morning until the gorgeous sunsets over the water. Five sisters and our spouses were all in agreement that this was a perfect destination to relax and enjoy the beautiful island!

Beautiful Sun Views

The house is located beautifully for sunrises and sunsets and gorgeous water views. The house was very clean and equipped well for all of our needs. With six master suites and a children’s bunk room, we had plenty of space for 8 adults and 3 children. The elevator was handy for luggage and groceries. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool with its warm temperatures and quiet setting. It was the perfect house for our family Christmas gathering.

Friends at the beach

Wonderful location across street from beach access. Beautiful home with rooms that easily accommodate a lg group (9) and every bedroom has a private bath! Elevator was great for moving luggage and groceries up and down. Nice indoor and outdoor furniture. Loved it!

Incredible House

We absolutely loved this house. It was even nicer than expected and the pool was also incredible. We really enjoyed everything. Some people complained about the elevator. We found out that it was very important to "obey" the rules on the elevator. That was that the gate and door had to be closed tightly when the elevator was not in use. That was a safety issue and as long as we did that like we were supposed to do the elevator was perfect. The maintenance man the owner of the property has is wonderful. We only had one issue with the air conditioning and he came immediately and fixed it. We are seriously considering renting the house again next year.

Another Fantastic Florida Family Vacation

We just spent the last week at "Summer Sunset" on Bradenton Beach and it couldn't have been nicer! The house was perfect for the eleven of us; plenty of room to all gather together at the pool, on the roof, or at the table, but with lots of places where we could find alone time. Steps from the beach which we had to share with almost no-one, with great views of the Gulf and the bay from the roof or from several balconies. The house was well equipped and clean, and each bedroom had its own ensuite bath. Afternoon traffic was busy but we were always promptly allowed to break into it. We didn't mind the road construction by our house as it never impeded with our travels. Our only small issue was the lock on the front door was hard to turn with the key. We look forward to staying there again the next time we have a large group!

Enjoyed so much we booked next year!

Overall the stay was great, even though it was an active construction site outside and the pool heater died. The house exceeded our expectations. Bedrooms/bathrooms were roomy and in great shape. Living areas/kitchen were nice. Balconies on the front and back were great hangouts. The rooftop space was amazing - sunsets and sunrises! Could see for miles! Pool area is a little small and not much sun, but the beach is across the street! The pool heater died while we were there and within 24 hours or so a new one as in! Close to restaurants and shopping (5-10 minute walk) and close to the bridge if you want to head back onto the mainland. In other words, the location is perfect.

Great home, poor maintenance

The home is great. The location is perfect. The views are amazing. But the maintenance of the home is some what poor. The utensils are very flimsy and cheap. The knifes are all dull. There isn’t enough coffee mugs for the listed amount of occupancy. Some of the blinds are broken and not working. In one of the room the shower head sprays in all directions. And the pool is extremely close to bamboo so it’s always dirty. The over all experience was good but there was a lot of minor inconveniences.

Beautiful house

This property is very nice. Great location, close to Bridge Street. Beds are very comfortable. 3rd floor had two bedrooms in the back and the living space in the front. 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms and the washer and dryer. The bedrooms are spacious with beautiful bathrooms. Lots of pool/ocean toys and floats in the garage. The ocean/ beach is right across the street and we saw dolphins and even a manatee. We had a few minor issues with the house itself that the management company and owner handled timely. I will note there was construction on the road in front of the house at the time of our stay. Disruptive noise from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday which consisted of machine noise and constant beeping from the machines backing up. We were not aware of this prior to our trip so it was disappointing. Of course it is not the owner’s fault there is construction but we did not get any notice this would be happening. It was not the peaceful vacation we were anticipating. We made the best of it but couldn’t help feeling somewhat cheated. We did express our feelings to the management company and owner. Although they listened, we were denied any concessions. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone as long as the construction is completed.

Beautiful Sunset

This property has room for everyone with six bedrooms, close to the beach, close to restaurants, and beautiful sunsets. Our main reason for choosing this property was the elevator due to one of our family members severely disabled. On Wed. an elevator tech showed up unannounced and had it out of service for at least four hours. It was working fine and this made it impossible for our family member to use the bathroom since it was on the second floor. I was called again the next day and was told he was coming back to work on it again but I told them that was unacceptable so it was rescheduled for after we left. Other than this problem , the house was great!

Beautiful home but had a few issues during our stay...

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Could not have asked for a better location or more beautiful views. There were a couple issues we had while at the house. We were traveling with my mother-in-law who is 80 years old and has trouble walking. Therefore, an elevator is necessary. The elevator broke down within the first 24 hours of our arrival and put quite a damper on how much she was able to get around. To make matters worse, she and my brother-in-law were trapped in the elevator for at least 30 minutes, although they handled it very well, we would have appreciated some instructions on how to handle this situation should it arise in the instruction book. The elevator repairman showed up on Tuesday and told us that we shouldn’t use it unless necessary as his temporary fix would only last so long and only take it to the second floor, so she had to walk the steps quite a bit. Secondly, my 25-year-old son scolded his hand while taking a shower and it is now blistering. Recommend you consult experts and turn down the temperature to a safe level before someone (especially a child) gets burned. Not usually one to complain but since you didn't respond to my private message, I feel the need to make patrons aware of some issues with this home.

Large house plenty of space for group of 13. Kids loved the pool and right across the street to beach. Good to have elevator for groceries and luggage. Walk to restaurants. Our large family loved the house! Some maintenance needed. Second fridge did not work

This house was amazing for our group, which consisted of all adults. The house was very clean upon arrival. The location couldn't have been better with the beach just across the street, and shops and restaurants within walking distance. The only upgrade we would suggest is a better selection of utensils for cooking and preparing meals. The toaster didn't work but there was a toaster oven which did the trick!
