If you are looking to indulge in an unforgettable ski retreat, there is no better place to call home than Ski Side Retreat, a stunning condo boasting views of the slopes and a perfect location within walking distance of the lifts. You can also visit during any season, as Beech Mountain features plenty of golf courses, hiking and biking trails, and waterfalls to check out during warmer times of the year.

This home was recently remodeled for additional convenience and comfort to include a pristine, remodeled primary bathroom and new stainless steel appliances in the fully equipped kitchen. This gem, with a third-floor main level, also offers the best mix of contemporary style and rustic charm with a wall of glass facing the mountain backdrop, a fireplace, and a large flatscreen TV for streaming favorite movies. Plus, the furnished balcony provides a great place to sip a favorite beverage as the sun goes down. If you want to spread out a bit, the lower level of this getaway features another living area complete with a flatscreen TV, sofa, dartboard, and wet bar.

With plenty of creature comforts to make your vacation one for the books, this retreat is more than ready to welcome you to the beauty of Beech Mountain!

Getaway

Love staying here. Every time we go to the mountains we will stay here! Plenty of space! Perfect location close enough to town and far enough to way to enjoy the view of the mountains.

Volleyball weekend

Came to the area for the first time for a volleyball camp. Opted for rental property over a hotel. Great decision. Location was great, views were great, space was relaxing, and good coffee choices! We would book this property again.

Gorgeous

We had a wonderful time. The view is spectacular and the mountain breezes are so refreshing. The house is clean and so cozy. Close to lots of food and entertainment options. Just the thing to escape hot summers.

Gorgeous, cozy home on Beech

Amazing home close to the slopes. We could not ski in or out per se but they have such wonderful touches here- especially the shower and coffee bar. So amazing! Loved it here!!! They had a Christmas tree and a warm fire place. Was so cozy! Highly recommend!

Comfortable and Great slope side views

Well appointed Townhouse. Loved the views and crisp fall evenings. The Master bed was so comfortable. We really appreciated the Coffee Bar which is very well stocked. Only wish the FP worked but no big deal as we enjoyed our stay anyway. The neighborhood and location is excellent. Susan

Beautiful, comfortable mountain retreat -- with a caution

This is a beautiful, comfortable home and we enjoyed our stay. The decor was very mountainy, the kitchen was well stocked, the furniture and beds were comfortable, and the linens and towels were appropriate. My caution to future renters: the outside decks and interior open staircase are a danger for kids (probably under age 8) and dogs. Do your homework and really study the 3d tour

Gorgeous Home

When we first walked in, we thought it seemed kind of small, until we realized that it goes down two stories into the side of the mountain, with the bedrooms and game room being on the lower levels. This was an absolutely beautiful and quiet place to stay. We had deer come right up to the balcony every morning, and we were able to watch people cycle down the side of the mountain and ride the ski lift back up. The community was very peaceful and the drive up and down to the home was beautiful! I do wish the location was a little more secluded, but since we were there for the Bristol NASCAR race, it was a great little getaway during our down time. The beds were unbelievably comfortable!

Beautiful location

This property is located in an awesome spot. When we arrived it looked like a winter wonderland. Everything was great. I will say the spiral staircase was a challenge keeping my three year old grandson off of but we worked it out. We were never able to get the logs started after checking everything but we still stayed warm. It would've been cozy if they worked. We had a hiccup and I locked us out of the house with my phone inside with the code to the door, but the manager (Vacasa) was quick in helping us get back in quickly. Would definitely stay here again!!

Exceptional location & property!

This is a 5 star property in a prime location on Beech Mountain. Clean and easy access on arrival, this could sleep 6 but we were only 2. 2 1/2 baths make it a bonus for multiple guests on this 3 floor property. Note to the owners: Front door weatherstripping is hanging loose, lock mortise in jamb had been split, perhaps from a forced entry by prior guest, suggest repair. Flag pole on front parking side deck was broken off on arrival, suggest repair. These are simply observations and recommendations, none of which affected our stay or use of the property. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WILL BE BACK ON OUR NEXT TRIP TO THE BOONE/BEECH MTN AREA. AGAIN 5 STARS!!!

Hurricane of financial losses

The Hurricane washed away sections of two highways to get to the property. Vacasa was unhelpful, wouldn’t give me a refund and could only offer me weekday bookings as compensation. Because I didn’t pay extra for insurance I get screwed and lose $700 because of a natural disaster! Terrible customer service.

Beautiful home and view

This home was booked for myself, and my husband and my parents for our birthdays! It did not disappoint! It had a beautiful view and beautiful Decor inside! Even though we had a problem with the fireplace, we were able to call this vacasa up and then we figured it out. It was a little frustrating at first to be honest but once we got it working, we were able to sit and enjoy it! One of my concerns with that the pictures are misleading and they did not tell us that a spiral staircase is involved in all 3 floors of the house and not just to the third-floor basement. With that being said, it was really difficult for my mom to have to go down the steps just to get to her bedroom. But she managed, and she was a trooper! Over all the house was everything that we could’ve expected and more, and we will be back! It was affordable and welcoming to our fur babies as well! As a teacher, affordable is key!
