Beautiful spacious house in great location, close to hiking and restaurants but in very private location. Kitchen is very well equipped, house is spotless. We enjoyed the deck as we had a beautiful October weekend, and it was great for star gazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend and hope to be back soon.

It was a great house,, close to everything we all wanted( shopping).At first , it was hard to find for it was dark when we arrived and there were no lights on the road, We loved that it was way off the road and nestled in the woods though.Little problem with ladybugs hibernating in the house however. They were in all corners of the rooms, and some in the beds. Overall, we had a good time. Thank you!

All was perfect. Would recommend highly. Word of caution. Cell service in area is very spotty. Make sure you jot down important info from welcome letter like code to get in and Wi-Fi password as soon as you get it.

Clear communication and check in/out instructions from our hosts. Beautiful property, tucked away but close enough to anything you might need! Perfect layout for our family trip and the toddler bed was a huge bonus for our little one!

This was our second stay and as wirh our first stay every room was clean and the house overall is very well maintained. Quiet morning coffee on the deck to plan our day was something to look forward to. The location is secluded and quiet yet central to hiking, exploring, shops and dining. We definitely enjoyed this retreat from our busy lives and will be back again.

The house was beautiful, just as advertised. Everything was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked with all kids of cookware. There was a small grocery store just minutes away. The privacy if the property was great too as we were able to enjoy dinner on the deck and feel like there was no one else for miles. This was the perfect setup for our family. And the hosts left sich great instructions we didnt have any questions at all.

This home and property were beautiful. The space was perfect for our three families with children. The space felt very clean - from the linens to the carpet. Unfortunately, I did have to contact the owner during our stay to report a few concerns. We noticed a terrible smell in the mudroom which never really dissipated. The inside of the home smelled musty, this seemed to improve slightly as some fresh air made it into the house with our comings and goings. We also noticed a lot of animal droppings on the porch by the screen door (squirrel perhaps). One family complained that the bedroom to the left at the top of the stairs smelled awful. Finally, the upstairs shower was very slow to drain and had a foul smell as well. The owners were very quick to respond to our messages via VRBO and reported they would send someone to check on these concerns. After this, though, we didn’t hear anything further and none of the concerns seemed to be addressed during our stay. Hopefully these things are sorted for the next guests because the house is a fantastic find and fits a large group (we had 10: 6 adults and 4 children) quite comfortably. I appreciated the communication from the owner but unfortunately we won't be staying here again.

Very spacious house with plenty of beds; has everything you need in the kitchen and for the grill, great location close to trails and Storyland. Very child friendly, we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful winter getaway

The Jericho house exceeded our expectations, and our two families enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house had plenty of space for our group to spread out and was also fully equipped with everything one would need while on vacation. The owners were great and quick to answer any questions we may have had. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Comfortable, clean and private

This was our second stay here in the past 2 years and we’ll come back again. It’s CLEAN, sleeps all of us comfortably and there’s enough seating in the living area for all. The deck is nice but bring extra chairs. We’re really hoping either a hot tub or a fire pit will be added but overall this is a great place to stay.

Great place!

This was our second year in a row staying at this property. We love it. Location is great, close to everything but very quiet. It was very clean and perfect for our two families. I love having the loft area so the kids can play. Will stay again in the future!

Second time
