Girls weekend

The home was very warm and cozy. Fully equipped with everything we needed for a fun filled girls getaway. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed from crock pots to wine glasses. The beds were super comfy and the home was immaculate! Highly recommend Kozy Chalet for your getaway whether with friends or family you are guaranteed to have an awesome stay. Excellent stay

We had a great time at this property. The owners were fantastic to work with and the whole process was very smooth. House was excellent and better than the online listing. Would definitely recommend this property and hopefully we will be returning here in the future.

Awesome dog friendly rental

Memorial Day Weekend 2024

We wanted a pet friendly house where we could relax and spend time with family…we were so happy with Kozy Chalet!! This was our first time using VRBO and our hosts were wonderful! They answered all of our questions very quickly, check in and check out were very simple, the house was very clean, pictures were accurate, everything we needed and more was supplied….we would definitely rent again!

Relaxing Weekend

Our stay at Kozy Chalet is exactly what we were looking for during our time away. Close to Jim Thorpe for a lovely day & perfect to relax on the deck and read. Our college kid enjoyed chilling on the deck while doing homework and taking breaks to play shuffleboard. Thank you for sharing your home with his.

Amazing house with everything you need

Right from the get go corinne was so easy and helpful. The house is decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. Any questions I had it was mere minutes that corinne or Ed answered them. We would definitely stay here again.

Kozy Chalet

We had such an amazing weekend at the property. Corrine and Ed were really responsive with communication!! They also included some welcome gifts for us (and our dogs) when we arrived to celebrate our anniversary, which was such a nice touch! The home is cozy with great new updates, but also reflecting some of the original charm of the house. A great blend. We can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful house!

Beautiful cottage in the Poconos! House was as described in listing-clean, cozy, and even had dog bowls if we had forgotten ours. I loved the patio and deck and we even saw a family of deer sleeping on the property when pulling our car in several nights after dinner! Also enjoyed not having to buy a lot of water as the property has a full-house water filtration system. The community amenities are also nice! Within 20 minutes of Jim Thorpe and Hickort Run State Park which has so many amazing hiking trails.

Awesome Stay at Kozy Chalet

The chalet was outstanding. The communication with the property managers/owners, Corrine and Ed was fantastic. From securing the rental agreement to the check out day, Corrine and Ed were in constant contact to be certain our stay was all we hoped for. Their attention to detail was exceptional. The chalet was spotless, all the amenities were available and the property was well maintained. The neighborhood was peacful and with many available activties and locations to visit. HOME AWAY FROM HOME

The property owners did an amazing Job on their renovation decisions in this home, the kitchen has all the modern appliances, new cabinets subway tile back splash, furniture all very comfortable, bathrooms fully updated, zoned air conditioning and were available for any questions. BBQ was clean & worked great and had a back up propane tank. Looking forward to a return trip. Almost forgot the repurposed wood brought the old and new together wonderfully! 5 stars all day.

Memorial Weekend at the Kozy Chalet

We had a great stay at the Kozy Chalet over the 2022 Memorial Weekend. The house is warm and inviting and is located in a quiet community nestled in the woods. All the comforts of home including a modern kitchen and updated bathroom with a large rainfall shower. Both levels have large wraparound decks where we enjoyed morning coffee and an afternoon cocktail watching the deer roam about. Only a 5 minute drive down to the lake. Thoroughly enjoyed a visit to nearby town of Jim Thorpe which included a train-ride through Lehigh Gorge. Corinne was a fantastic host, very attentive and quick to respond to all questions.

Great Communication

From the moment I booked the property, the host was very communicative and answered all my questions. We ate in multiple nights and the house had everything we needed from pots, pans, silverware, etc.. Nothing beats drinking a cup of hot coffee in the morning while sitting on the porch overlooking the wilderness. My party had 5 adults and 3 kids, and had no issue sleeping, eating and playing in the house. Only minor drawback was the distance between the house and the trash site. But if you have gone camping at all, it is no big issue. Overall, I would stay again in the future.

Fortunately, they are approx a 5 minute drive from our home and are conveniently located near the main stores right outside our community. Enjoying coffee on the deck is also one of our favorite things to do at Kozy Chalet, especially when the deer are walking around! We look forward to hosting you again! Safe travels!!

POOR CHOISE

MaJOR problem was water running load from water softner at 4 am. Very dark inside, lighting poor. NO TV in family rooms. Only in bedrooms.Master B R TV quit second nite used. Fire place poor. Yard full of branches and yard debris.

Welling, We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at Kozy Chalet. We do our very best to ensure all our guests are satisfied and have a great trip in the Poconos! Unfortunately, we received no complaints from you until the morning after your 6th night in our home even though we had been in contact multiple times during this timeframe. We did offer to address each issue you brought up that same day, however you decided to check out instead. Our water softener backwashes in the middle of the night so as not to interrupt water usage during the daytime. We offered to come right over to change the schedule on our water softener to remedy your complaint, however you denied us the opportunity to help. Although no other guests have complained about the noise level, we have since added sound proofing material to the water closet. We have large sliding glass doors on both levels of our home to allow natural light inside during the daytime as well as a large variety of interior lighting options. We do not have a TV in our 1st floor living room, however every bedroom has a TV as well as our 2nd floor living / game room. We are sorry you had difficulty using one of our TVs, however we did offer to have someone come to the house to assist you and replace the TV if necessary. All TVs were found to be operational when checked after your stay. Our fireplaces are as described in our listing. The 1st floor is an electric fireplace that is 100% operational. Unfortunately, our 2nd floor fireplace is not operational at this time, however we plan to upgrade this in the near future. Our yard does have some branches and leaves from all the surrounding trees on our property. We do maintain our yard to remove fallen branches and most of the leaves, however our home is located in a wooded community and we love the natural surroundings that makes the Poconos a beautiful area to visit. Again we are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay in our Chalet. We wish you safe and happy travels in all your future trips!
