Let our spacious 2 bedroom, garden-level apartment be your cozy home away from home while you enjoy all of the beauty and adventure of Alaska! Our space is right in the middle of all of the things you'll be getting yourself into while you visit Juneau- halfway between downtown and the Mendenhall Glacier! We have equipped the apartment with all the amenities of home so you can relax, cook, or just have a nice place to refuel for your next adventure.

Great hideaway, great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and the hosts are friendly. It is centrally located, clean, quiet and comfortable. Will be checking for availability when we book a return.

Cozy and Convenient

This was an amazing property with great views and conveniently located to the Valley and downtown activities. Great hospitality and easy check-in and check-out. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a great time. The house was extremely clean and well kept. Water pressure in shower was fantastic. The property was very close and easy to find from the auto ferry. A terrific Walmart type store was also quite close.

Nice place, conveniently located.

Conveniently located right down street from Fred Meyers (local store). Everything was clean and well kept. Comfortable beds. Last day we had a black bear walk right by the front window, which was exciting.

Perfect Place in Juneau!

The host Penny is wonderful and so is the house. Clean, comfortable, and close to everything in Juneau, but it feels secluded. If I’m in Juneau again, this would be my first choice for lodging!!

Great home base

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was a clean, quiet, comfortable place for hubby to lounge around and nap in and the perfect, convenient location for me to pop in and out of between adventures. Loved it.

Cozy cabin in Juneau

This cabin was very near the airport which was nice after a long day of plane travel. Close to town but did not feel like it (In a good way). Very peaceful and beautiful location. House was clean, cozy and well furnished for a Juneau vacation. I would definitely stay here again.

Close to everything

This home was perfect for our business trip and I can imagine it would be a good choice for a family vacation too. We were close to everything, downtown 10 minutes, Mendenhall Glacier 10 minutes, grocery store 5 minutes.

Home Away from Home

We absolutely loved our stay here at Penny&Bill's. They were super friendly from the get-go of booking, to allowing such a spacious apartment, to providing amenities and a stocked kitchen. Cozy with great layout

This was a great spot right near the road but surrounded by rain forest so feels secluded with great scenery. A good halfway point between Mendenhall Glacier and downtown Juneau. The apt layout was great for our family, the kitchen was a good size and having laundry was awesome. The owners were very responsive. One thing to note was the 3rd bed was not a futon but an air mattress.

Very accommodating hosts helped us check in smoothly. I was surprised that one of the beds for our family of six was an air mattress in the living room, but I may not have read the fine print… the mattress was easy to set up and not a problem. It is an extremely convenient location next to airport and grocery, but there is also a lot of highway noise that makes sleeping in the living room challenging. Overall good experience. Everything was very clean and the accommodations were solid.

Home Away from Home

The place was very comfortable, clean and well supplied. It had everything we needed, including lots of pillows and blankets for kids to crash on the couches, air mattress, and floor. Bill and Penny were extremely accomodating, he even snow plowed around our car. Great central location, Fred Meyer is literally right down the road. I would definjtely stay there again!

Great location to stay in Juneau!

Penny our host was very gracious to let us check in early as our flight arrived several hours prior to check- in. The downstairs apartment is clean and comfortable. The property is centrally located to all activities and is about 10 minutes from downtown . Fred Meyer is down the street. There are many trails to hike and lots of mining and Tlingit history. The scenery is outstanding!

Perfect, convenient spot in Juneau!

Great spot, perfectly located between Mendenhall Glacier and downtown Juneau. Comfortable apartment. Hosts were attentive and helpful when we needed resupply of bathroom items. An upgrade to the apartment would be screens on the windows to improve ventilation without letting bugs in. Other than that, it was a great resting spot for our family of 6.

A splendid little place. I was ready to move-in.

This little home is right by the airport, and I was worried about possible airplane noise. But I never heard a sound, it was perfect, and restful. It's the downstairs level of their home, not connected directly to the host home upstairs. These hosts really care about making your stay great. (We were staying for work, but I'd love to book again for vacation) I would highly recommend this place, it's got everything you need. Clean and comfy, close to everything, and a great value.

The apartment is locally right in the middle of all the happenings of Juneau! You are 1/2 way between downtown Juneau and the Mendenhall Glacier. It's a short walk to a grocery store, it's right on the city bus route, and gets lots of sunshine.
