South Haven south side renting at its best. Just a short walk to Lake Michigan beaches, Kids Corner Park, downtown and so many other local amenities.



This  updated cottage features fresh paint and furnishings, reclaimed original hardwood floors, an improved deck and patio area, and much much more. Gather in the living room or the back TV room off the patio.



Offering an accessible first floor bedroom with a Queen bed, plus another Queen bedroom upstairs. The kids will love the upstairs bunk room with two sets of Twin bunks.



The darling front porch, with its swing, offers the perfect place for some early morning coffee and solitude or gathering to visit after a fun day at the beach where the best vacation days are spent. A generous backyard offers space to hang out.

This home is located in our breath-taking South Side Neighborhoods in South Haven. A peaceful, quiet community filled with people who all share one thing in common: A love for the beach and our home right off of Lake Michigan. The best part about staying in this area is that you're located in a quiet setting that's easily walkable to access some of the town’s best features - The shops of downtown, views overlooking the lake, the countless beaches, and endless outdoor activities.



Interaction with Guests:

Your Shores Vacation Rentals team are local area experts who know all of the ins and outs of our beautiful homes in South Haven.



We're available in-person Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, to assist guests in planning their South Haven vacation and providing insider tips for an authentic local experience.



For our incoming guests:



Prior to your arrival you will receive all pertinent check-in information communicated via email and mobile SMS messaging, as well as a local destination guide with our personal recommendations on local eats and activities in the area.



We provide an after-hours emergency phone number to call in case an issue arises outside of our standard business hours. Additionally, we provide you with a mobile SMS number that you can text for non-emergency issues.

Very clean inside and a quiet neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen but remember to bring pantry items with you.

Wonderful location

The house was perfectly located, close to beach, Kids Korner and downtown. It was clean and well stocked. Communication was excellent with owner. Downsides were queen mattresses in poor condition and little drawer space. But, at our request, hangers were delivered promptly. The upstairs TV is for dvds only.

Overall this is a fine property with a location that is very desirable. The inside of the home was nice and clean, although we did find earwigs in the cabinets and ants on the counter. The outside left a lot to be desired which is unfortunately since outside is where you want to be in South Haven! VRBO should require updates of photos on the listings because the current photos cannot be within 3 years. The bushes were overgrown, and it was noticeable upon our first impressions, I rolled my ankle 65 times in the yard from the moles that were wreaking havoc on the yard, my daughter practically endo'ed on her bike from mole runs. There is a tree growing between the patio and the home by the doorwall. The screen doors either didn't slide or were difficult to slide. The property had massive spider webs everywhere including around the outdoor table. If I was the owner, I wouldn't be happy at all with the management company assuming they are responsible with the upkeep of the exterior. I received 3 welcome messages, 3 sales messages and 3 departures messages from the management company which is great (minus the sales), but they failed to reply to our ONE question on VRBO posted 48 hours in advance. We will not be staying with Shores Vacation Rentals again.

Perfect Family Stay

We LOVED our week in this home. My mother, brother, husband, myself and our teen and toddler sons stayed here. It was very comfortable for all of us. The kitchen was well-stocked, there were tons of board games, and we had enough paper products to last the week with some left over. We enjoyed the hammock and outdoor dining table in the backyard, as well as the porch swing on the front porch. We did have to bring all of our beach and baby gear. It would have been nice to have some of those items included at the house (beach towels, wagon, pack n’ play, high chair, etc.). We were offered a pack n’ play and high chair for an additional cost, but we brought our own to avoid the extra cost. The location is perfect for families. We walked to the beach every day and it’s on the same street as the Kid’s Corner playground. We were also close enough to get downtown via a 10-15 minute walk. Just around the corner is the trailhead for the Van Buren State Park bike trail, and the neighborhood itself is very bike-friendly. We love South Haven! Thank you.
