"On the Parkway" gives your family the best location for a summer vacation in South Haven.  Walk to the shoreline, walk to Kids Corner Park or hop on the Van Buren Trail for a stroll or bike ride. This two level home features a large back yard and side yard, perfect for letting the kids enjoy outdoor play time.  The back patio is easy to configure for any size family, and the outdoor firepit is available for your marshmallows and story-telling evenings.

On the main level is the large living room with a corner fireplace, cable tv & dvd player.  There's plenty of space to spread out, including a colorful kid-size play table and a desk for laptops and other devices. The dining room is a cheery space with sunny, south-facing windows. The kitchen has everything you'll need for morning coffee to evening meal prep, and plenty of counter space to put everything together.  There's also an extra table for four in the kitchen - handy for quick meals with toddlers.  The main level also offers a first floor bedroom with a queen bed, a half bath off the kitchen, the washer/dryer, and a full bath with a walk in shower.

At the top of the stairs is a landing area with cable tv and a sleeper sofa.  The large front bedroom has two twin beds plus a bunk bed with a twin over a full bed, and still plenty of floor space for toys & games.  The other bedroom on the upper level offers a queen bed.  The upper level bathroom features a large soaking tub.

Bring the kids, bring the grandparents, bring your beach toys and enjoy your visit!

Nice little getaway close to the beach!

Cute little house close to the beach, Kids Corner park and downtown South Haven - all within walking distance. Has all the necessities for a remarkable beach vacation! Excellent hosts. Reservation desk of Shores was always responsive to all my questions.

Enjoyed our stay!

Great location. Short walk to the beach and downtown. Quiet neighborhood. Clean and good communications. There is one shower downstairs and a jacuzzi tub with a handheld sprayer, but not a full shower upstairs. The driveway is narrow and was a tight fit for a full size truck. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay!

Enjoyable & convenient location for all ages

This stay was an initial introduction for our family for everything that South Haven has to offer. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms provided great flexibility, the only recommendation I would make on the ground floor bathrooms is to make the toilets comfort height due to close proximity to the shower in one room and the washer/dryer in the other

Family week

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this house. It is five minutes from Kids Corner playground and ten minutes or less from the beach access (depending on how fast your kids walk! :)). South Haven is walkable with all its restaurants, shops and we spent most nights walking to the ice cream store and then down the marina and pier and back to the house. Perfect size for our party, great patio, loved the grill! Would definitely stay again.

The refrigerator is making a loud noise. Would have appreciated some shower soap thankfully brought our own. The outdoor new grill doesn’t seem to work but does have a strong odor of a gas leak. We did use the older one and it worked.
