Great place to spend the weekend

The house was great had everything we needed. We were two couples and plenty of space. We will rent this again it is within walking distance from downtown.

Great location, okay house

The house is in a great location near downtown Whitefish. We enjoyed being able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. The front porch is great for watching the sunset. The house had not been turned over when we arrived at 4 pm. Even after housekeeping came, the house itself was not as clean as I would have hoped. There was mold on the shower curtain. The bath mats had not been washed after the last guests. The shower did not drain and so you were left to shower in about an inch of water. I would have expected the comforters to be washed after the last guests as well, especially given all the Covid protocols, but that was not the case. If Vacasa can resolve the cleanliness issues, this house would be a great house for those wanting a weekend away.

Don’t leave anything behind.

I left an iPad behind accidentally and trying to get it back has been a nightmare. I called vacasa immediately and they charged me $25 plus tax to “send a team out” to see if the property was there. I called back 3 hours later and they told me to call back 2 days later if I didn’t hear anything. I called back 2 days later and they said they received an update that day that the new guests had reported it being in the house. They also told me I would hear back from the local management company that day for mailing information. I never heard back that day or the day after. Tomorrow I will have to call again and I’m sure I won’t get information on mailing - just that they should be contacting me soon. There is no urgency, even when you pay for them to send a team out, to return the property. I understand it was my fault but with any sort of customer service I shouldn’t have to continue to call and call with no reciprocation of communication in return. Also I paid $800 for 2 nights. The towels were paper thin and smelled like mildew. The dryer was full of wet linens that we had to remove to do laundry. Also bring your own toilet paper so you don’t hurt yourself with the one ply. Overall disappointing for the price.

Fine

The house is well-appointed and adequate. It has a lovely back yard and front porch on a quiet street close to Whitefish Lake and all the cafes and shops.
