Get a taste of Santa Barbara from the back deck. Dine al fresco with Riviera views. House perched up high capturing mountain and mesa views and you can even see the Channel Islands from the living room. Comfortable kitchen, dinning and family combo room perfect for family time. Washer and dryer included. Also features two bedrooms with dedicated bathrooms, a second living room that doubles as an office. The front porch is great for sitting and getting to know the neighborhood. This is a 31 day rental minimum stay.

My name is Raymond and I am an urban planner who works in local government. I grew up in New Jersey and came out to California for graduate school and never left. I have been living my California dream for the past 20 years. For the past 7 years I was a short term rental host in Sacramento, CA. Recently decided to share my Santa Barbara getaway house and offer it as a short term rental with a 31 day minimum stay. I enjoy the outdoors and especially the California Coast and beach culture. I also love designing things and figuring out how things work, and I recently had this house built so its brand new. I enjoy a casual and bohemian style with global flare. The living room is inspired by recent trip to Morocco and plays with colorful textiles, rugs and desert imagery. I also speak several languages besides English, including Spanish and Portuguese, and I am learning Italian. So if you need someone to practice with let me know!

What I love about this house is that it's perched up high on a hill and you feel like you can touch the tree tops. It rear of the house captures views of the "American Riviera" and you can enjoy the outdoor deck as the sun goes down the distant lights twinkle in the hills. On clear days from the family room you can also capture views of the Channel Islands and just knowing they are there is enchanting.
