Being close to the beach was a big positive. The rooms were very small for big people which all of us were. The shower was ultra small - 2' x 2'. Again not for big people. My grandson who is 12 years old is 6' tall as is my 14 year old granddaughter. The apartment could have been a bit cleaner. While sweeping up before leaving, I found an old, used Q-Tip under a dresser. Lighting was fairly low especially in the kitchen area where the light was not functioning properly. The outside patio was very appreciated. The BBQs worked very well and the area was large enough to accommodate a number of families and for socializing. Given the age of the area my expectations were not high for any unrenovated properties so I was not disappointed.

Ideal location

Very close to beach, easy stroll to the pier. Host replied to message promptly. Would definitely recommend.

Charming Beach Retreat

We had a great time staying here. We were so close to the beach, and also other amenities. We enjoyed having a comfortable place to rest as well. The apartment was spotless and the check-in process was very smooth. We may come back again.

Amazing location!

Right near the beach! Nice quiet part of the beach with big waves, and only a quick walk to the pier and restaurants. Ample parking and a very clean unit. It is a basement-level apartment that has several step-ups within the layout - would not be great for someone with mobility issues. It rained almost the whole time we were there, and even with the AC unit the apartment felt damp - though it was never musty. Maybe with several sunny days it would be different? Master bedroom was a good size and a nice mattress, but the bunk room was a tight squeeze. Would be best for a smaller group.

A great vacation spot and will likely look into returning!

My family and I had a great time on our vacation to O.O.B. and loved our accomodations! The apartment that we stayed in was small but nicely set up and was the perfect amount of space at a reasonable price. We especially loved the location as we didn't want to have to do a lot of driving and this place was perfect for that! From enjoying breakfast sandwiches made at the well-supplied convenience store across the road to listening to live music while having cocktails at the Pirate's Patio (which is just a few steps away!) and of course being within short walking distance of the sandy beaches, this place was an ideal walker's retreat. Even walking to the pier and to the amusement park/arcade for some play time with the kids was very easy and enjoyable. Mary was a great hostess and was very communicative which made everything a breeze, including check-in/checkout. I would highly recommend staying in any of shorefour's apartments and we hope to be back next year!

Cute little apartment

It was cute and clean, right by the beach. Walking distance to the peir. Only complaint is that the rental above had children that was running back and forth and that was very annoying. I would rent again.
