Host was great with communication. Home was clean and tidy. The fireplace was a struggle to get working and then the gas ran out so we couldn't use it. Kitchen was well equipped with plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, cutting boards, pots and pans. The outside area could use a little clean up but nothing that affected our stay. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch and the fire pit in the evening. Overall a great home and stay.

Kitchen was well stocked. Comfortable bed. Hot tub was great once we learned how to up the temp. Raul helped us right away with the new thermostat for heating the upstairs. Good options there. The only downside was the bathroom light & fan coming on when using the bathroom in the middle of the night. Otherwise a great accommodation & easy walk to the lake.

The cabin was so well stocked with for all the basic needs. The size of the kitchen was AWESOME!!! It was quiet and in a great location. We hope to stay there again.

Lake Blueridge

We had some issues, but the property owner was quick to respond and address the problem. Was very kind and wants your stay to be pleasant Very cozy cabin and great location to lake, shopping and all Blueridge has to offer.

Quiet & Relaxing

The location was very convenient -- 10 minutes from the town of Blue Ridge and close to the lake which offered good views. The house was exactly as listed and was well stocked. We visited in late November and it seemed like the house had been vacant for a while, possibly since summer, and was clearly in need of a good cleaning. There were many cobwebs and the house needed a thorough vacuuming and dusting. The hot tub had an unpleasant smell, adding to the impression that the house had not been maintained in a while. The host was very attentive and quick to respond.

Quiet Get Away

My family recently stayed here for a short vacation to get out of the city. It was a perfect, quiet, peaceful place to stay, and close to different attractions we wanted to see. The host was very communicative and flexible with our plans, and even checked to see how our stay was going. I would definitely recommend staying here, if you are looking for a quiet place to relax.

Peace away from home

Starting off Raul (the property owner) is amazing. Responds very quick and is so helpful. The place is beautiful and close to town. I would definitely recommend. Its peaceful to sit outside by the firepit or on the big porch. Kitchen come fully equipted with anything you need to cook with. Thi

Great Stay for NYW

Raul was very quick to respond, and took care of anything we had questions about! The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had ample supplies of everything you could need. Lake is less than a mile away. Firepit and hot tub were a great addition to our stay! Thanks

Had to clean the place myself

We had to go buy a vacuum cleaner that worked and spent 3 days cleaning the house up. It had not been cleaned for a good while the grime, dust and spiders were terrible. I cleaned the baseboards too and hand cleaned the floors. After all the cleaning we enjoyed our stay. The air filter needs to be changed because the mildew and mold smell is pretty bad especially downstairs. We stayed for a week and enjoyed our trip.

relax and enjoy the company of family

House was very accomodating, with well equipped kitchen....we enjoyed the lake about a mile away, the fire pit at night and hot tub too.

Well Appointed Home !

I have rented many vacation homes, but this rental exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had ample supplies of everything you could need. Plenty of fresh clean linens and towels. Raul was a lifesaver at check in and was courteous throughout the stay. This rental was one in a million !!

Family Escape

Perfect ! Great place if you have teenagers as they can have downstairs and you can be up -also great space upstairs -kitchen-living room and great deck however weather didn’t cooperate! So close to water which was so appreciated! Thanks for a great stay and for all the thoughtfulness of supplies coffee etc 👍👍

Our home away from home

The rental property was perfect for our family size. Our group consisted of Grandma, son, daughter-in-law and a 12 year old granddaughter and 20 year old grandson. The house was furnished nicely, beds were very comfortable, kitchen was appointed with everything needed., hot tub was nice to have and the deck had a nice view with a peak of Lake Blue Ridge. Two bathrooms, two living areas, and a laundry room were helpful especially trying to get ready to visit the sites of Blue Ridge and the surrounding area. We would definitely rent this home again!

Great Stay

I had a wonderful experience at the property and with the host Raul. It was a perfect location that both felt secluded and rural but also still close to shops and such. It was great to be close to different hiking trails as well. Raul was very helpful and hospitable . I had no problems with check in either. This property would be great for a friends weekend or even a small business staff retreat.

Summer weekend get away

Our group had a great time. The cabin is close to the lake, the living area downstairs with beds and bathroom allowed our kids to hangout with privacy while the adults hung out upstairs. There was plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable.
