Thank you for selecting my property for your trip. Unfortunately there were major problems with your visit. There was dog poop all over the floors and rugs and cigarette ash as well which required additional cleaning. VRBO is in the process of charging you an additional $100 damage fee.

We had a wonderful time, the cabin was just as advertised, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and it was a short drive to Helen. We loved the property and the amenities it offered. We would definitely recommend staying there and would book again if in the area.

As a group, we really enjoy the property. This was our second time renting the property, and we would love to rent this property in the future. Minuses would be that the Hot Tub Jets were not working, which prevented us from using the Hot Tub. Also, one of the sliding glass door handles was loose, and one of the towel holders in the master restroom was coming off the wall. Finally, the screen door latch to the outer deck where the Hot Tub is located is inoperable, and the other screen door screen was dislodged. We want to thank the owner of the property for the use of the property and hope to continue to use this property next summer.Pastor Daniel Robbins

Great Cabin! Perfect location! Diane was a great host and good communication. If ever back in Helen we will definitely return to the Cabin. Enjoy Anna Ruby Falls and Octoberfest. Pets enjoy it also! Thanks!

My husband, mother in law and myself had a fabulous time.....the cabin was perfect!...very clean...had everything we could possibly need...enjoyed the fireplace as well...i feel we could not have picked a better cabin to stay in...thank you so much for sharing your peaceful home with us...we would like to stay again sometime in June-July for our 26th anniversary...thank you again and have a wonderful holiday season!...Jeannette...:)

Love the location! Just perfect outside the city limit, the place was very cozy and comfortable!! Lots of fun things to do! The gazebo place by the creek was amazing! Perfect play spot for littles! I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway

Quaint comfortable home in perfect location. Only 5 minute drive to downtown Helen but set back in the woods where it felt very secluded. Our family loved the property and would definitely return. Great for a couple’s getaway or full family retreat.

My favorite spot was the patio by the stream… tranquil and smack dab in forest. This place is definitely black bear nation there’s proof of it everywhere. You will love this stay

The location is amazing. You are so close to downtown Helen, Unicoi State Park and Yonah Mountain. The house is super cozy. It was just my husband and myself, but I could see a big family staying here and enjoying it with plenty of room for all. The property is everything you want out of a cabin in the woods, but more. The creek and waterfall were such an added bonus. The hot tub was nice and hot and helped us relaxing after hiking. My only complaint is that the beds were not super comfy. That being said, we enjoyed our stay here so much.

Gate extremely hard to open. TV remote in second bedroom had no batteries. Main TV had no instructions. No TV's had instructions. Master bedroom TV wanted me to sign up for Netflix. While the accommodations were fine, a guide to operations would be appreciated. Also, no instructions on how to lock door. Great location, close to town. Safety issue with no handrail to creek/waterfall platform. Could not use as a safety issue. Also microwave hidden behind cabinet doors.
