Olympic Condo - Whiteface Club Resort - Views - Jackrabbit Trail - STR 200356

Olympic Resort Condominiums were built in the late 1970’s to be used specifically for housing the competing athletes in the 1980 Winter Olympics. Olympic Condo was recently remodeled to include two bedrooms and one bath with an open floor plan that offers golf course and mountain views, a dining area, well equipped kitchen, living area and glass sliders leading to a covered balcony.
Whiteface Club & Resort on the shore of Lake Placid lake offers amenities for the whole family on a fee basis including a full-service Marina, two restaurants, an 18-hole Championship golf course, 6 clay Tennis courts, hiking and biking trails. Winter offers cross country skiing on groomed trails through the golf course, back country skiing on the Jackrabbit trail system, snowshoeing, ice skating and tubing.
The resort is a short two-mile drive to the Olympic Village of Lake Placid for exploring the Olympic venues, shopping and restaurants. Nine miles to Whiteface Mountain for skiing, mountain biking during the summer months or taking a gondola ride to see the views of the Adirondack wilderness. Cross Country Ski at the Olympic Complex/Mt. Vanhoevenberg, try a Bobsled or Luge run on the original Olympic tracks or Ice Skate on the Olympic Oval. Lake Placid has it all.

Main street is few minutes away by car. Managed by property owner, very accessible.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It was cozy, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The owners clearly put a lot of care into the details, and the extra touches really made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect for us. Our stay at Olympic Condo was wonderful - Dan was a very communicative and responsive host, especially as we had to leave early because of an injury while at Adk Loj property. We loved the condo, with great views of the forests, access to the beautiful gardens and views down at Lake Placid, comfortable accommodations, including a well-equipped kitchen. We hope to come back soon!

Condo had everything we needed and more. Pictures were very accurate and communication with the owner was excellent. Condo provided a perfect home base for us to explore Lake Placid and the Adirondack area. Very safe area to run and take walks. West Shore BBQ is located a short distance from the condo and is an excellent place to pick up lunch or supper.Thank you Dan for a great stay!

Convenient, comfy and

We had a great stay. Dan's place was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. Had all the necessities and and a few more. Our 2 very tall teens used the bunk room and loved it despite the usual upper bunk length limitations. Nice cozy little nook in there with TV, bean bag chairs, and "fireplace style" heater. The condo was very convenient to downtown Lake Placid, and to Whiteface for skiing. Dan was quick to respond to any questions I had. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Stay in Lake Placid

Awesome spot in Lake Placid. Close to downtown and there was so much room in the condo. Dan was an excellent host and made sure to answer any questions promptly. The condo had everything we needed and the host thought of everything we needed for an excellent stay. I’d recommend this condo/Dan to any of my friends and family. If you’re looking for a nice getaway to Lake Placid, I’d highly suggest to stay here!

Great Apt for a winter vacation

The stay was amazing. Views to mountains, lake and forests on a winter wonderland. We got an amazing snow fall that blanketed the trees, fields and mountains. All worked in the apartment.

Comfy Adirondack’s Stay

My husband and I stay here each year for our anniversary. Great location to do some hiking but also spend an afternoon in Saranac Lake. The condo is perfect for us - quiet, comfy and an easy in and out.

Great family weekend stay!

Nice Place to Stay

The condo was nice, clean and well kempt. The only bummer was that there weren't any footpaths that were available to walk around the property. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Highly Recommend

Our family just returned from a wonderful first-time visit to Lake Placid. The details and photos are accurate. Parking is convenient and ample. Lovely firepit outside as well. Condo was immaculate and well-stocked. Location is superb. It is conveniently located to all major attractions, yet condo is situated in a quiet area. Perfect combination. I would definitely love to go back.
