You can't beat this location. Place was great. Perfect for us. Kitchen was stocked, all appliances were in working order. Comfortable furnishings. Highly recommend!

Beautiful newly renovated, great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very close to Olympic Village. We were there for my daughters wedding and it was perfect! Enjoyed the outdoor deck with table and Adirondack Chairs

Great visit to Lake Placid

This Vrbo is in a great location, walking distance to downtown and Lisa Gs! Second time staying here with my husband and dogs and will definitely book here agin in the future. Great views from the deck as well and love the spacious kitchen!

A great location.The house was right across the street to Big Z Hangout, a fun place to grab a bite and hangout. The house looked like the kitchen was newly renovated. It looked great and had all the right kitchen equipment. The bedroom is the only thing that was small and didn't have a place to put clothes away. Overall, I recemend the house and would go back again.

This was our 2nd stay here and as always, it’sa warm, cozy and comfortable place. The furnishing are beautiful and the owner is great to deal with. Had a great weekend with family!

Jumping Fish Condo

Location is fantastic, walk to restaurants, quick drive to the mountain and downtown. The home has everything you need, beautiful kitchen and furnishings. Had a wonderful stay would love to come back in Summer & Fall! Thanks to the hosts!

Accurate listing

The property is as beautifully decorated and maintained as shown in the listing. We really appreciated being able to walk to the Olympic Center and stores, restaurants if we didn't want to drive and park -- and to be home in seconds if we did drive.

Family getaway

Everything was as advertised Inside and out. Beautiful deck, table and Adirondack chairs. Walking distance to Olympic site in town, and a short drive to ski jumping and bobsled sites. One caution is many restaurants and some attractions were closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Maybe that is just reduced hours after Labor Day when visitors are less than peak summer volume. Overall a wonderful stay in Lake Placid. .

Awesome location, cozy house

This house is wonderful! Walking distance to Mirror Lake, use the little ally behind the house to get off the main road and onto more residential street. The coffee shop down the road was wonderful too ((and they accept online orders)). Our morning routine was pick up coffee and play at the lakes playground. Overall loved it and will rent again! Two things I will critique: it's small with limited storage space. No place to unpack and store clothes really, we made it work with the end tables but just don't over pack. Secondly, the bedrooms are bright at night due to the lights of surronding houses. We have a 4 month old and toddler that need dark to sleep. Ended up stuffing towels in the window to block the light.

Could be great, but...

When we arrived we were excited... the place looked great and until you looked in the corners or under the beds seemed pretty clean. We quickly realized that only the visible surfaces get cleaned. But the biggest problem was outside. On our second day a contractor came and started digging up the retention wall in the grassy area right by the deck. Can you imagine trying to relax on your vacation while having an excavator and front end loader going for 8 hours digging up the whole grass area shown on the pictures right by the deck!? Well, that was what happened during the entire week we were there. At times the excavator was inches from the deck and also from our parked car. We reached out to the hosts who simply said "this does not impact the unit" - are you kidding me - this doesn't impact the unit!? We also reached out to Vrbo but that customer service was useless. They asked us to submit the photos of the construction and then suggested that we contact the hosts - yes the same hosts that blew us off! Too bad... the place has potential, but just because of the attitude of the hosts I would urge anyone looking into this rental to consider a different place.

Very clean, well appointed, but……

Photos are deceiving. Bedrooms are small with limited storage. No central A/C, just window units in the bedrooms that are very loud.Very clean and nice furnishings.

Wonderful Stay

The house was very clean upon arrival which for us is important. It had plenty of space which we loved. The location for us was fantastic! And the view of the mountains from the deck was amazing. The amenities were excellent. The only recommendation we have for the owner would be to install room darkening shades in the bedrooms. We will definitely be back!
