Twin Palms Gem
We have been vacationing in the Coachella Valley for 25 years and have come to love the Palm Springs area in particular. Steve’s house in Twin Palms is far and away our favourite place to stay. It is a spacious two bedroom townhouse that is well decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would possibly need for meals at home and the gas barbecue is a high end model and works very well - we used it often during our five week stay. The location is perfect as it is right next to Koffi and is about 3 km (2 miles) from the centre of downtown, and we walked downtown many times. The home is also close to many hiking trails and the Indian Canyon golf courses. Even just walking through the Twin Palms and Indian Canyon neighborhoods is a treat if you enjoy mid-century modern architecture. The home is also walking distance to a great mall with a Ralph’s grocery store, Ace Hardware, TJ Max and a couple of good restaurants. The backyard is well appointed with a small pool/spa and a sitting area. Steve, the owner is very responsive and attentive, although we really didn’t need anything from him or the property manager, Fred, the whole time we were there as all the appliances are new and high end and everything just works. We booked another month next year about three weeks into our stay.
