Enjoy a morning watching the sun rise over the valley under a covered porch. During the day there are plenty of nearby amenities and restaurants to visit or enjoy the 75" Smart TV and/or the peace of the woods. Come evening take a shower in the stones. Finish the day by the fireplace or have a campfire overlooking the valley.

Cozy, comfortable cabin. You can tell the owners are very thoughtful in how they manage their cabin. Great location for skiing. Will return! It was wonderful!!

Beautiful as always! Clean, bright and welcoming. A perfect place to get away from the world. We brought Little Bob to enjoy our vacation (in the pictures). We will of course be back.

Hillside Haven Retreat

This property was absolutely wonderful. Quiet with lots of privacy. We enjoyed its rustic feel and little treasures. The shower is spectacular!!!

Comfortable home

Very comfortable and clean home. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings and relaxing. We were attending an event at nearby mid Ohio race course and will stay here again if we return.

Heavenly Hillside Haven

Beautiful home, beautiful property. Would love to retire to a home just like this and celebrate the peaceful surroundings. Love the new firepit and fence. Everything was just as it should be for a perfect vacation.

Great Stay

Accommodations were all we expected and more. We loved the outdoor lifestyle feel to the house. Scenic view with everything within a stones throw. Shopping, or whatever you needed close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would not hesitate to book again.

Indeed a hillside haven

Most beautiful home with best amenities and hosts. This is our second visit, just a weekend escape. We already booked for a week in the spring. No one would ever be disappointed with this vacation rental. Recommend to all, just don't take our dates!

Definitely a Hillside Haven

Beautiful home and lovingly decorated. Everything we could wish for. Wanted to give a poor review to keep this hidden gem for ourselves, but alas couldn't. Should give everyone an opportunity to experience this home. Great hosts too! Will definitely be back. So beautiful, we just love this place!

Quiet retreat minutes from the Shawshank

We stayed at this beautiful home for a long weekend during the 2023 Shawshank Hustle. It was conveniently located to quickly get to the race but remote enough to provide a very peaceful long weekend. The shower is amazing! The house was very comfortable and well appointed. We would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Charming, quiet, comfy, relaxing

Cabin with upgrades (and suspect more to come) - bedrooms were excellent, truly comfy beds; bathroom large and lovely and shower was great; kitchen is basic and did what we needed it to do. Washer and dryer in basement worked well, as long as you're careful on the stairs. Wee Post-its with helpful notes were appreciated (and also made us smile). Worked well for us (3 adults), and was easy drive to/from the places we needed to get to during our stay. Definitely recommend!

Relaxing Country Feel Just Minutes from the City

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is a cozy little place. Very clean. Julie is great and answers any questions timely. I love the fact that you are so close to town without the hustle and bustle of the city. It is the perfect little place for a relaxing getaway.

Hidden Gem

We were in town for a festival so we didn't get to spend much time at the house. Beds are comfortable, shower is amazing. The water pressure was better than any hotel. I love that there is a chest with some games, though we didn't get to play them. House sits up on a hill and the driveway is a little intimidating, but really wasn't too bad. The best part is that the house has a country feel, like you are in the woods at a cabin yet you are really only 2 minutes from town and everything you could need. Looking forward to booking this house for a weekend away.

Perfect Little Getaway!

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing, cabin-like getaway for my birthday weekend and as our last trip before our baby comes, as I am 31 weeks pregnant. It was perfect for what we needed! Very cute and beds were super comfortable. The shower was our favorite part! The owner is very nice and communicated with us super well! Check-in and out was super easy. We wanted to find somewhere we could kayak, and there were lots of good options nearby. Definitely would and plan to stay here again!
