House was great and provided entertainment for our 2 family (9 person) get away. House had beautiful view of lake, however access to public beach was steep and rocky and not conducive for launching kayaks or paddleboards.

Everything was great until we arrived. Stephanie was great about answering my many questions, getting approval for us to check in early, etc. HOWEVER - we never received the access codes for the gate or house on Thursday morning (10/8) as promised, in fact only entered the gate with help of another tenant. Once inside we texted, called, left voicemails - waited 2 hours past our approved early check-in time, Customer Service finally got in touch with the host and we were able to get in. The accommodations were lovely though instructions were lacking for the fireplace, lake access, and main ceiling fan. We were advised to bring our Pack ‘n Play and found TWO in the house! Once in, we had a fabulous time. The home was so clean, cozy, comfortable.

Lakeside retreat

The property and house we're beautiful. We had a wonderful time relaxing and playing games. Directions need to be clearer as God brought to someone else's property who said it happens all the time

Great stay!

Our family loved our stay at this home. The home was beautiful. We had plenty of space for our family. The walk to the water was pretty easy. The kids loved the air hockey and Pac-Man in the basement! Hot tub was a great addition! Would definitely recommend!

Fall break family trip

Only negative was the parking down a very steep incline and had to either back up put or go down a very steep gravel incline But the house was amazing and location gorgeous

Lovely house with beautiful view.

This was a lovely property with plenty of space for the family. The children enjoyed the game room on the lower level and outdoor hot tub. Would enjoy visiting again.

Beautiful, secluded vacation home

The house was beautiful and clean with a pretty view of the lake. We had plenty of room for 12 people. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Blackstone grill was very nice to use. We appreciate the kitchen supplies along with the toilet paper, plenty of towels and etc. We were disappointed in the public access to the lake by the house. There was barely a trail to the lake and honestly there really wasn’t a great place to even put the kayaks in the water. Once we got the two kayaks down to lake, one kayak filled up with water very quickly and flipped. We then figured out the tape on the bottom was not keeping the water out and the kayak was not useable. The gravel roads in the subdivision are pretty steep and can be intimidating. But once you do it the first time, it gets easier after that. Our families both rented minivans and did fine getting up and down the steep roads. Overall it was a very nice place to stay and we did enjoy our time there.

Wonderful House and Location

We stayed at *BRAND NEW* Lakefront LUXURY! over 4th of July weekend and had an amazing time! The check in process was smooth and simple and the house was clean and exactly as advertised! Our family had a wonderful visit and would happily go back in the future!

Weekend stay at Nolan Lake

Great house, the scenery of the lake was awesome. House was very clean and had plenty of amenities. We came down with a family of 13 and there was plenty of room. A little tricky getting to the property. Overall a great stay, the owners were in constant communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway

This property was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The house is spacious inside and out. We really enjoyed sitting around the gas firepit in the evenings! The kitchen has everything you need and the outside grill was top notch. We brought out boat down for the lake and kept it at Ponderosa right around the cove. This place was a great weekend stay!

Family Thanksgiving

Great space for 11. Outdoor decks, grill, hot tub and fire pits were so much fun. Having some flat area outback was really nice for games and the trails to docks were great for exploring.. Inside: 2 ovens made Turkey dinner with fixings so convenient.

Beautiful lake views

When we booked our stay, there were not pictures of the lake view so it was a pleasant surprise to have such beautiful views from the house. We also loved the remote location. It's a beautiful area, about 45 minutes to Mammoth Cave National park, our main destination. Our mini-vans did fine with the steep driveway and rocky roads. While the house and views were quite nice, I wouldn't stay again unless something is done about the beds. The two full/queen mattresses upstairs have bedframes that are so squeeky they kept us awake at night. My husband was able to tighten them a tiny bit which helped but still prevented us from having good sleep. The beds were also uncomfortable. The house layout and design was perfect for our group of 12- 6 adults and 6 kids. I hope they upgrade the beds and some things around the house so that it truly feels as nice as it appears initially.

The house was beautiful, everything we needed was supplied. Master bed mattress was newer and very comfortable. The other beds could use an update. The beds were metal and wobbled. Just did not feel comfortable.

We had a family reunion and chose this rental as homebase.Our main goal was to spend time together in a centrally located place, but we wanted to be near something like a national park, so we did visit Mammoth twice and enjoyed it.We also enjoyed renting ATVs nearby and had the time of our lives.Several of us popped into Leitchfield for this and that and found some wonderful food. One person needed a car repair and it went smoothly and at a great price. In summary, Leitchfield is a great little town.We did not explore the lake access, but it looks like a pretty body of water.As far as the rental goes, it was absolutely perfect. Spacious, brightly lit (lots of windows), comfortably appointed, immaculately, clean, and relaxing.We cooked several meals in the kitchen and generally found what we needed to get the job done.Plenty of plates and cups and things like that for a large crowd. Dishwasher worked well.The beds were comfortable. It’s a little bit chilly in the rental, so bring proper pajamas if you like to be cozy at night.We had a few questions along the way, and the host was helpful and patient with us.To wrap things up, this is a beautiful rental in a gorgeous area. A town next-door that has pretty much anything you might need and a friendly vibe. Plenty of outdoor adventure nearby. Don’t hesitate to visit Leitchfield and stay at this gorgeous lake home!

Beautiful

The house was gorgeous,the owners have great taste. We had one annoying issue, the front door alarm would go off randomly. I would also reccomend driving a truck or 4x4 to get to the house as roads are gravel with steep hills. We hope to come again!

Clean and spacious!

Nice place for a few families to meet up together. Pro is water access -- so nice to swim everyday, however, senior citizens can't make it down to the water due to the nature of the path. The home is sort of secluded -- not much to do unless you'd like to drive over half an hour. It wasn't an issue for us since we intended to stay put for the week. We did have to buy extra paper towels, laundry soap, and toilet paper. Very nice hot tub. Lots of space, being 3 stories!

Perfect family vacation!!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property. It was perfect for the 11 of us, six adults and five children. The kids loved the bunk bedroom and the game room which gave the adults plenty of space to enjoy our time together on a beautiful deck that overlooks The lake. The Blackstone was perfect which allowed us to cook dinners and breakfast! There were very few restaurants nearby so I'd highly suggest you bring as much food in as you can and be prepared to cook which we did and it was actually perfect. There's one restaurant that I would recommend and that's the redneck in Clarkson. They were very accommodating for the 11 of us and food was All homemade and very good and extremely reasonable! The drive in just take your time you do get use to it! You won't be disappointed staying here!

Great rooms, difficult road in.

The house is new and nice and the rooms were good. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook for our big crew and kids. While we were there the path to the lake was marked off limits by the US Army Corp of Engineers, so there was no lake access although you can see the lake. Be aware the road to the property is curvy and a tricky drive, may not be possible for a two wheel drive car. It may still be under construction.

Needs some attention

The furniture should be replaced. Leather on couch is peeling off. White cloth on Kitchen chairs are very stained and some are ripped. All dishes are plastic and very limited kitchen pans and utensils. Not one baking sheet. . Chair on deck by fire pit back is broke.
