Mark Twain lake getaway at Blue Lagoon!

Blue lagoon offers room for your family and your boat!
This spacious, newly renovated, home offers all the comforts from a large family room, a kitchen with all the necessities (e.g., KUERIG), and even a washer and dryer to freshen up your clothes after a fun filled day on the water. When nestled in, you can watch tv, connect to the Wi-Fi, play games or enjoy the outdoors with a covered porch, gas grill, large table, firepit and a porch swing (recommended with morning coffee).

There is plenty of parking. Even room enough to park your truck and boat ...no boat! no worries! Blackjack Marina is minutes down the road. They will be happy to rent you a boat, or a slip if you have a boat. Recommend reserving early (573)565-2233. kayak rental available also. There are 3 public boat ramps available within a few miles. You can bring your ATV, or side-by-side, to explore miles of gravel roads. Prefer to go by foot, nearby parks have several trails varying in difficulty. Don't feel like cooking, I would recommend Rustic Oak for a nice dinner out. For a one stop shop, Route J market is in walking distance to pick anything from snacks, beverages, personal items, to fishhooks and bait. You need it, they probably got it!

The house was perfect for a little family getaway that isn’t far from the lake. The house itself was clean and comfortable. Washer and dryer was super useful. The house also had a well stocked kitchen. The check-in process was simple. I’d definitely stay again.

We have stayed at many VRBO’s but have never had one stocked so we’ll. It had everything we needed and more. Daniel was extremely responsive when I messaged him. Perfect location to put our boat in at Spaulding ramp. We will be back.

Would Stay Again

Stayed 2 nights at this VRBO and wish we were staying long. This VRBO is everything you need by Mark Twain LAke. If you forgot something this VRBO probably has it someplace. The place was clean, easy in and out. Couldn't believe all the stuff he/she had supplied in the house. Convenient to everything. We rented a slip at Black Jack. Would rent again

Great place to stay and a great location!

We had a fantastic weekend stay at Blue Lagoon. I was so excited to find a place that I can bring my dog. The house has everything you would need for a getaway and if you use Ray Behrens boat ramp you will be super close. We had plenty of space and we were very comfortable. We will be back!

Nice quiet location

Lots of room in a quiet location really enjoyed the place. The only thing we noticed was the door to the bathroom was very noisy otherwise no complaints.

Perfect for family of 4!

This location is ideal for nearby boat ramps and marina. Off the main busy road in a small & friendly neighborhood. Unit is stocked with every tool we needed to cook and grill. Only negatives are firm beds (just that we're not used to) & a couple squeaky doors, especially in the middle of the night. Spacious for 2 Adults & 2 Teens. WiFi was good and Amazon Prime was a bonus. Loved the mudroom entryway for water toys and fishing pole storage. Plenty of parking for truck, boat plus a small car. Owner was great at communication. Would stay again!

Great spot close to the lake!

The cabin was very nice nice- well kept and in a nice area with great amenities including kitchen utensils and coffee. The kids really loved having their own room to play and relax in. The property manager did a great job communicating and answering questions. The lake, local attractions, and restaurants were close by making our weekend away that much better!

Great property in an excellent location!

This house is in a quiet little neighborhood with a store, restaurants, and gas station nearby. Plenty of room for boat parking at the house. The house was stocked with everything you need. It was very charming as well. The patio area could be swept and tidied up some and weeded around the property. I highly recommend though and we will be back!
