Hilltop Red house is the perfect vacation home to relax after a full day of surfing or exploring Tofino. This property offers breathtaking views from every room. Situated on a hilltop, right in town, for quick access to restaurants and shops, this is great place for families. Guests love how easy it is to stroll to the town's harbor, go whale watching, visit the sea otters, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.

Soak up the stunning views of Tofino from Hilltop Red House, your perfect vacation home. This contemporary style property features a king-size bed and spacious ensuite with a large bathtub, plus a separate bedroom on the main floor with two single beds and a second bathroom with a stand-up shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for your culinary needs, and the spacious dining room seats up to six guests. Enjoy relaxing on the small patio, where you can BBQ or simply take in the beautiful view. The open concept living room is ideal for entertaining, or simply curling up on the double-size pull-out couch for a cozy evening indoors. Located just off the hilltop and right in town, you can easily access restaurants and shops. Make Hilltop Red House your family's Tofino getaway!

A few things to notes:
Please note: We understand the desire to enjoy the breathtaking views of Tofino and its lush forests while keeping bugs at bay. It's worth noting that screens are not commonly found in Tofino as locals appreciate the natural surroundings to the fullest!

Host Rules:
During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps (unless it fills a 2 night gap)
3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays

1 dog allowed only (40 lb max)

Parking: 1 vehicle can park at the property (free). Additional vehicles will have to park on the street. There is FREE street parking from Nov-May and PAY parking May-Oct 31

Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws

Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbors and locals!

Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30 day Cancellation policy. If you provide us with the 30 days required notice you will receive a full refund (minus any pesky VRBO processing fees). If you cancel without the required days notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation.

Tofino

Fantastic property with a great view.Very clean, and the property manager was in constant communication via text.The only drawback was parking. The owner only allows 1 car as other residents and a small class room are utilized on the property.

Hilltop Red House

Perfect getaway/retreat for my family. Hilltop Red House was just right for us, very spacious and upper part/loft was perfect and private with its own bathrm. Lower bedrm was nice as well with two single beds and a full bathrm. Loved the Saltspring Soapworks hand soap,shampoo, conditioner,body wash.All three of us enjoy cooking and kitchen was well stocked. Location was ideal and if one so wanted you could walk into town. Central to beaches- enjoyed Chesterman and Long beach. Only one minor concern with rental was with propane stove- addressed concern with Jacqui ( office manager for Tofino Vacation Rental), very quick to reply on how to go about troubleshooting, we had no success and she offered to send someone out to look at it. Maintenance person came by that afternoon and fixed the issue. Appreciated the excellent communication with Danielle and Jacqui. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend this lovely home. *No cable available but not a problem - nice to “unplug”.

Cozy and great location

Fantastic House

This house was very clean and perfect for two couples. Great front porch looking at the bay was awesome. The beds were very comfortable, slept like a baby every night. The communication with the management was great, very responsive. My only complaint was that the kitchen was under stocked. No sauce pans, no lids for the frying pans, just very few cooking items. I would bring staples with you. I would definitely stay again!

Tofino road trip

A little piece of heaven!

One of the most magical places to visit -- Tofino and the west coast of Vancouver Island! Hilltop Red House is perfectly situated to all the amenities while making you feel like you're in a private nature area with no one else around. Accommodation was outstanding and the deck overlooking the harbour is perfect for sitting out and enjoying your coffee first thing in the morning. We're coming back!

Great location, beautiful place

This was a great place to stay to explore Tofino. It’s within easy walking distance of downtown and right across from the water. The coffee shop right at the bottom of the drive is also excellent. Just a note- if you have any mobility issues, due to the large driveway incline and lots of stair, this might not be for you. That being said, I cannot recommend Hill House and Tofino enough.

Fabulous space

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great and had good views over the harbour. There was plenty of space for the three of us and everything worked well. We’d highly recommend this to anyone else

Excellent property!

Great location - able to walk to local restaurants. Very clean and remarkable views. Excellent communication with property rental staff. Reached out frequently to see that all was well and if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful view and location

Pictures on the listing are accurate. It is a beautiful house with central location to town and a minutes drive to beaches. Great coffee shop (Tofino Coffee) at the bottom of the drive way and close to whale watching as well as excellent restaurants.

Tofino getaway

Property was big, clean, within walking distance of everything in town. All the beds were comfortable even for 4 adults. The 2 washrooms allowed for a bit more privacy for each couple which was great. We would stay again. Parking and check in were easy.

4 nights in Tofino

Ther stay was perfect, only a 2 minute drive to the docks where our fishing charter started from. very close to bakeries, restaurants, and had a great view of the harbor and mountains in the distance.

Great for a family- not so great for couples

This is a great location in Tofino close to everything and a wonderful view of the harbour. It is not great for couples due to a wide open loft space and pull out couch or a room with two twin beds. It is also very pricey for what you get. For a family of four this would be a nice option but for two couples, not enjoyable to stay here.
