Friendly neighbors, walkable to restaurants, close to the myriad of golf courses that Gaylord has to offer, and within 2.5 miles of I75! A convenient location for a day trip to Mackinac Island, Traverse City, or Petoskey if you can pull yourself away from this absolute haven on the lake.

Great Stay
We always enjoy our visits to Gaylord and Otsego lake. The cottage was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The patio and beach are both very nice. We were able to easily launch and dock our boat. We also had a great time renting a pontoon for a day.

Vacation
House in great location, lake is beautiful. House did not seem like it was ready for guests. Dishes in the sink, toys on beach, dirty grill and front door open when we arrived.Property is up for sale and open house signs were left up from previous weekend. We would stay there again.

Loved being on otsego lake!
Great location on Otsego Lake with beautiful views. The house was a little dusty and had a mildew smell but fit our needs great since we spent most of the time on the lake anyway. It was just the two of us for the weekend. If you are bringing a family of 4 or more there is not much seating inside the cottage. Just one couch. The owner was very friendly and responsive. I know they are still working on improving the property. Great weekend overall.

Lake and outside is beautiful, the inside was unacceptable for the price.
The location is great. The outside amenities were great. But the house really needs work. When we first entered the smell of must was so overpowering, we debated just leaving. We opened the windows to air it out, but the every single screen had a gaping hole, letting all of the bugs come right in. It is in need of some serious attention and updating to justify the price we paid. The potential is there because of the location. But there is only one couch and no coffee table or end tables. Old musty carpet under the kitchen table and in bedrooms...etc.
Overall, we did have fun with the kids, lake, and outside amenities. However, I would not recommend staying here at this price point.
