Excellent communication with the host and a wonderfully well-equipped home—everything you need and more! The house is lovely and comfortable, and it’s an easy walk to town, local restaurants, and shops. A perfect home base for a family holiday in Mytsic.

The house was perfect for our college girlfriend’s weekend! It was very clean, kitchen was well stocked for cooking/eating in, beds were comfortable and location was perfect! A quick walk to downtown. I would highly recommend staying here and we are looking forward to our next visit!

Appliances were dirty..they needed to be wiped down..The sidewalks could have been shoveled & cleared better. Overall our stay was comfortable. The cottage is cozy, plenty of heat since it was pretty cold. Close to everything.

Thanks so much for letting us know about the appliances. We weren’t aware that they needed attention and we’ll speak to our cleaner. Apologies that our snow removal team missed you on your checkout day. They arrived during the storm at 8am but you had already checked out earlier. We were only stayed for one night, but it was perfect! Great location, super clean, comfy beds. Would definitely go back for a longer stay.

Comfortable and perfect location

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was within walking distance of many attractions and was very comfortable. The hosts left bagels and cereal, along with coffee, milk and snack mix we would book this stay again in the future.

Totally charming house!

Wonderful stay! The house was clean and comfortable. The location was amazing!!! Such a short walk to downtown Mystic where there were great shops and restaurants! Hosts were so thoughtful with every detail, even leaving snacks and breakfast!! Perfect for a little getaway.

John Denison House was once a corn shed on the Denison Farm, Mystic's earliest settlement. Later moved down the hill to its current location, John Denison House has been restored and renovated to allow 21st century amenities and comfort whilst still retaining its historic charm. Stay in a bit of history!
