Owl's Tale at Avenwood Cabins

Summary:

This is one of our newest additions for the Avenwood Cabin lineup! You will feel right at home in Owl's Tale. Upon entering, you will be pleased to find our beautiful double sided fireplaces and the queen bed will get you feeling cozy right away. Step onto the porch for a soak in the hot tub, make your favorite meal on the charcoal grill, or relax with a fire. The perfect little getaway cabin to unplug and unwind!

The Neighborhood:

All of our Avenwood cabins are in the heart of Wayne National Forest. ATVs and horseback riding or just a few of the offerings that they offer. Hocking Hills attractions are just a short 10-15 minute drive (Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, etc.) along with ziplining, canoeing, hiking, and all the other adventures you are looking for! Looking for something a little bit more low-key? Take a jaunt out to Hocking Hills Winery and Brewery33 to taste some of our locally made adult beverages. For your convenience, downtown Logan is another great stop where you can grab a fresh-out-of-the-oven donut and check out some local shops.

We loved it only a 4 star because it was much closer to others and the drive wasn't the best for parking and roadway wasn't the best either.

Cabin was clean & had amenities, hot tub was clean & the balcony had privacy screens so neighbors wouldn’t see, much less that isn’t an issue because they’re fairly spaced apart from each other.

Perfect cabin for a relaxing weekend getaway! We especially appreciated being able to bring our dogs along — it made the trip even more enjoyable. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus and the perfect way to unwind after a day out.If you’re planning to cook, be sure to bring along basic kitchen essentials like seasonings, oil, and butter. We also brought a griddle, which came in handy. The stovetop burners took a little figuring out at first, but everything worked fine once we got the hang of it. We didn’t end up using the grill since it requires charcoal, but it’s a nice option to have. The bed was very comfortable, and overall we had a wonderful stay. We’d definitely come back!

Fun

Great location for what we wanted. Cabins could have more privacy between them but still good, clean property and great view from the back porch and all surroundings
