The Sugar Shack is the perfect hideaway in Old Homosassa. Located on a secluded half-acre lot surrounded by lush vegetation, you'll relish the quiet from the side porch. And if you're looking for activity, you're just a few blocks from the center of town and the public boat ramp. The Sugar Shack gets its name from the Yulee Sugar Mill Ruins Historic State Park. The house is located within walking distance to the Park, where you can see the Yulee Sugar Mill that operated in the 1850’s.

The master.bedroom bed was hard and lumpy could not sleep in the bed toilets were elementary size commodes and single ply toilet paper left much to be desire. The common and kitchen area were very nice

Family get away

We booked this property last minute when other plans fell through. We had a very quick response from owner and very accommodating. This is an absolutely beautiful place ,quiet lot. The location is great 5 minutes from town and everything. Nicely stocked home . We loved it and will definitely return if in the area again.

Great spot

Great spot right in the middle of homosassa. Very quiet road. House was clean had everyrhing we needed. Only sugestion would be a gas grill and a light on the porch.

Just like HOME

This was our second visit to this property--- "The Sugar Shack"! It is a wonderful property, our Home away from Home, located in a very peaceful neighborhood. The local attractions and dining experiences are multiple and easily accessible. The home is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything that is needed for meal plans. David is very helpful to solve any issues or answer any questions about Homosassa, FL Thank you David😊✅

Relaxation Time

A picture perfect vacation. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Sugar Shack in Homosassa, Florida The home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped--pots, pans, and beautiful dishes, silverware and glasses. The neighbor hood is quiet and comfortable area for safety and walking. This home is also very close to multiple tourist sites and restaurants--even walking distance to some, if you choose. David was very helpful with any questions or needs that we had and answered quickly. Thank you David!! It is definitely a home that we will visit again. In fact, we are in 2024. Thank you

Amazing Experience

What an amazing experience! This home is in the perfect location, just off the central road to downtown. perfect distance from the boat ramp and restaurants, We brought our golf cart and everything was accessible by that! the home even had parking for the boat and trailer too! Overall the home is very very cozy and great location!

Homossasa gem.

This property is located in the middle of Homossasa. You can get to anything in a short period of time from this site. Place seems to be brand new and very well kept.
