This house is beautiful, clean, very well stocked with everything you might need! The owners are so friendly & helpful. We brought our 3 grandchildren with us, they enjoyed the property, the huge waterguns, boardgames, smores around the fire ring, the fresh cookies delivered by MaryWe love Homosassa, everything was so close. We would definitely stay here again!

This is our second time staying at a house of Joy’s. We rent a golf cart and get around that way. Plenty of things to see and do. The hosts are great people and we got fresh baked cookies and brownies. That’s a nice bonus. We would definitely stay again!

The property was clean and well maintained. It had everything you would need regarding the kitchen and toiletries. They even stocked extra items, including: condiments, spices, coffee, etc. The standout feature of the house was definitely the screened porch with reclining chairs. We spent every night out there, with a nightcap, enjoying the peaceful sounds on nature. The property location is great as well. The neighborhood was quiet and wooded enough to provide seclusion. Despite that, there were several restaurants within walking distance and about less than a 10 minute drive into Homosassa Springs for several more options.Mary Lynn and Joy were excellent hosts. Our stay was just before my birthday. So they put up birthday decorations, baked cookies, and greeted us upon arrival. It was quite the surprise.

My husband and I live about a mile from this property since 2006. Joe was born and raised in Homosassa. In 1961 He went in the Navy. I met him in California. We stayed there until we retired and bought a home on a canal near the Homosassa Wildlife State Park and the head of the Homosassa River. About a 5 minute kayak ride.

We enjoy hosting people in our short term rentals.

We love to kayak, boat, scallop and travel.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We own the house next to it and when our neighbors said they were going to sell it, we jumped at the chance. So now we have two homes side by side each with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Which is perfect for those people who want to have a family reunion or just travel with several couples. The ground level is all cemented in which gives you a great area to entertain outside even if it is raining.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Plenty of parking and an area where you can hook a RV up to power. Walking distance to taverns, and other places of interest. Huge oak trees line the street. Very beautiful setting.
