Start your day with a cup of coffee or tea on one of the multiple private porches overlooking the lake then head to your private dock to enjoy a day on the water. The house features large bedrooms with king size beds, ensuite bathrooms, and HD TVs; a bunk room big enough to fit all of the kids; and ample common space for your next big family gathering. The hiking trails and rock formations will make you feel like you are staying in the middle of a national park instead of a private house! Minutes away from the nearest marina and only an hour from downtown Huntsville and downtown Birmingham, how could you resist?

Fabulous weekend!

The house is spacious, well laid out, inviting, and beautifully decorated. All beds were exceptionally comfortable, and although we didn’t use all tvs, they are all very large, new, and had great speakers. The kitchen had everything you would need, and the host provided multiple thoughtful items such as extra napkins, toiletries, surprise cinnamon rolls, and plenty of trash bags. The lily pad was enjoyable as well! We will definitely be back with the whole family again.

Originally from Louisiana, I now live in Huntsville and enjoy exploring the natural beauty of northern Alabama, especially the Smith Lake area. My parents bought and renovated the property in 2020 as a retreat near their grandchildren and an opportunity to create memories for their growing family for many years to come. We love being able to share this special space with you and your family/friends and take great pride in making your stay feel as comfortable and fun as possible!

The walk to the water from the house cannot be beat! My parents instantly fell in love with the magnificent views of the lake and the large rock formations that made the property feel like it was in the middle of a national park. Smith Lake is a great spot to relax, no matter the season, and we have created an environment that allows you to take full advantage of its natural beauty.
