This beautiful and very well-maintained holiday home is located in the Ore Mountains, just 10 km from the border with Germany. It is found in a beautiful and peaceful location with stunning views of the mountain pastures in the surrounding mountains. The house is surrounded by a well maintained garden.
You have two independent apartments here, each suitable for max. 8 people and with a private front door.
In a separate part of the building you will find the home of the friendly owners here. For groceries you must walk to the village (600 meters) and for more shopping Jáchymov is just 2 km away. The owner sometimes has fresh goat milk or goat cheese. There is a private parking here with plenty of space. It is ideally suited for up to 16 people.

This cozy and very well-equipped cottage is suitable for up to 16 people, it consists of two independent apartments and it occupies two floors. Thus you can socialize with your family or friends on holidays while still enjoying your own privacy.

The layout of apartment 1 is as follows:
On the ground floor there is a hall with a separate toilet. The bathroom has a sink and a shower. In the shorter part of the L-shaped living room there is the kitchen with a countertop with two electric burners, a refrigerator with freezer and a microwave. The living room has a table with chairs and a bench along the wall. For those who like to lounge on, there is a settee and a divan, which are not counted as sleeping places. There is satellite TV and there are cabinets. The bedroom on the ground floor has a 2-persons bed. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two with a 2-persons bed and one room with two 1-person beds. On the floor there is also an extra bathroom with toilet and sink.

On the ground floor there is a hall with a separate toilet and stairs to the upper floor. There is a modern kitchen with a dining area and a sofa bed, a kitchen with an electric stove with 4 hot plates and oven. There is a refrigerator with a microwave. Relaxation is almost compulsory in the living room here that has a sofa and a settee, which aren't counted as a sleeping place, and satellite TV. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with bathtub, toilet and washbasin and a bedroom with two 1-person beds. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with a 2-persons bed and one room with two 1-person beds.

Overall this is a great accommodation for families with children or groups of friends.

The Ore Mountains are a 150 km long mountain chain at the border between Germany and the Czech Republic. It is also the basin of the Ohre (Eger) and Labe (Elbe), along with the extensive coniferous forests; a paradise for walking, cycling or mountain biking on the numerous marked trails. Nearby there are numerous sports you can practice: golf, tennis, fitness in the spa buildings of Jáchymov, swimming in Ostrov nad Ohri (10 km) in a swimming pool complex with three pools, or in the thermal baths at Karlovy Vary (20 km). There is spring water here that has a temperature of 72º C and it sprays 12 meters high. You can walk into the so-called colonnades where the Tsar Peter the Great, Goethe and Beethoven once walked. Or you can go shopping and enjoy the Bohemian crystal and porcelain with the famous "onion pattern". History and architecture go hand in hand in lovely little towns like Klášterec nad Ohrí (29 km, 19th century castle, sculpture park, porcelain museum), the medieval towns of Ostrov (10 km, renaissance baroque palace, castle park) and Kadan (36 km, square, town hall, baroque Trinity pillar, ruins of old walls and a former executioner's house). The Czech Republic is known for its fine cuisine and there is nothing better than to end the day with a tasty meal in one of the many restaurants in the surrounding area.

At 300 m from the house there are slopes (trails) with two lifts. At a 500 m distance you will already find the next ski slope with lifts. It is ideal for families with children. Three major ski resorts are not too far from the house either: Neklid (5 km), Boží Dar (7 km) and Klinovec (5 km). Each of them has a prime location with numerous facilities: parking lot, ski and snowboard rentals, ski schools and buffets. There are mostly light and simple downhill runs, but also black runs. The length of the slopes varies from 300 to 900 m. Snowboarding, snow tubing, night skiing, you have it all here. Prices: a 6-day ski pass for adults costs 62 €, for children under 10 years old it is 38 € (price level 2004/2005). Cross-country skiers can indulge themselves on the biathlon track of 3 km, and on the marked trails in the immediate area. In spring and autumn: enjoy the beautiful nature along the marked trails for hiking and biking. Nearby there are numerous sports facilities: golf, tennis, fitness in the spa buildings of Jáchymov, swimming in the pool complex of Ostrov nad Ohří (10 km), or thermal baths in Karlovy Vary (20 km). Taste the special atmosphere of the resort towns of Teplice, Klášterec nad Ohří (29 km) and Karlovy Vary (20 km). In this film and music town you can enjoy the 19th century architecture, walk through the colonnades, and do some extensive shopping. Culture and history can be found in Klasterec nad Ohri (19th century castle and a porcelain museum), Kadaň (36 km away, beautiful town hall, baroque Trinity pillar, ruins of old walls and a former executioner's house), Ostrov (10 km, Renaissance-Baroque Palace). And do not forget that the former silver town of Jáchymov (Joachimsthal) with the Royal Mint (now a museum), has given a name to the word "dollar".
