Charming and quaint, this restored island home will make you smile! Located just outside downtown, this home is close to everything! Just a short walk to the carnival grounds and to historic downtown. Perfect location if you want to be near the action. With a cute little yard and an outside shower this is a great rental for children and pets. Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid. If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather). ( NO WASHER/DRYER) Pet friendly home $75. per pet fee will be added to your reservation. This home is not providing linens or towels. Please bring your own or call us to rent them.

We were not able to stay at this property because it was in such awful condition. It was advertised as having central air which it did not have. In addition, the mini splits it did have were not in working condition. The wall in the stairwell was bowed inward and the bathroom had evident mildew. The screened in porch was not usable because the screens were ripped and detached, and the floor was strewn with dead bugs that noone had cleaned up.

Reviewer Comments: I'm thankful my friends and family didn't tag along, this home left a lot to be desired. I opened the door to walk in and the first impression was kitchen drawers broken to the point they wouldn't even close. The upstairs (3 bedrooms) are not cool, the mini split is in the hallway and doesn't adequately cool the bedrooms. we added fans to the all to help move air, only one free outlet in most rooms. Drywall up the stairs is bubbled out/off wall. The grill belongs at the dump! Called upon arrival about refrigerator issues, no one ever called back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is at a good location to walk to shops and was nice and clean. We had a few things that were not as described, that is my reason for the three stars under general condition, but I did let the rental management know and they helped get this corrected. The house is older and not modern but that is ok since it is a pet friendly house, and you don't have to worry about things getting broken. I was told that some things are currently getting replaced (grill and porch screens) so if this happened, I would stay there again. Only thing I would note is that it sleeps 6 but the kitchen only has seating for 4 so you wouldn't be able to eat at the table together.

I suspect the owner is paying someone to clean the property between visits. The owner is getting ripped off. There were huge dust bunnies in every corner and the front porch is where spiders come for their annual convention. The house itself could be cute and cozy if it were cared for. Location is good. Close to town, easy bike ride to beach.

Sunny, quiet, and centrally located

We loved staying at Always Sunny -- it was the quiet break we needed. The kitchen has everything we needed and it was easy to get around by bike to everywhere in town. It was nice that there's an outdoor shower and a hose to keep the house clean of sand. It really felt like a home away from home, and we would stay there again.

The bed in the master bedroom is possible the most comfortable bed I have come across in all the rentals I have stayed at. AC works very well (2 Zones)to keep the house cool. Great house for a family of 4 plus a pup, but can accommodate at least 7 Already looking at booking it again next year.

We eat in mostly and I found it difficult to cook it the small space.That said, I realize the prize was quite low so expecting can't be too high. We had what we needed and we had a good time! This house would work best for those on a budget, those who aren't planning to do much cooking and aren't clean freaks.

AC was fine but there are window units to augment main units. It can take a few days to get used to the noise.
