This listing is for a condo at The Summit Beach Resort, it's located right along the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches and within walking distance to great restaurants, a golf course, and other family attractions. The Summit Beach Resort offers guests onsite amenities such as two large swimming pools, Summit Tiki Bar, Summit Market, Bikini Bob’s Restaurant, hot tubs, picnic areas with grills, tennis courts, a basketball court, three shuffleboard courts, and a fitness center. During the Summer, kids can enjoy Resort Collection’s Adventure Zone activities onsite, including fan favorite Dive-In Movies on the pool deck at dusk. Each suite is fully furnished, providing all the comforts of home. The Summit is one of the biggest resorts and offers some of the best values on the beach.

This unit is unique because it is a penthouse with 3 full bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms! Most at the Summit just have 1 Bedroom and 1.5 Bathrooms. Experience this beautiful penthouse with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico!

The 15th floor offers unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as breathtaking sunsets.

Friends Trip

Me and a group of my friends came to stay for a week, and had the best time!! The condo was way nicer than we could have imagined and very clean. Only thing I will say is to bring your own toilet paper and washing supplies! You will also have to clean the towels yourself almost daily. But besides that we had a blast and would 100% stay again!!

Nice stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was nice but could use some TLC. There was a lot of damaged areas that would have made the condo more appealing, but nothing that bothered us. The condo floors were very dirty and the beds had sand in them from the slider doors being open. We cleaned the floors when we got there and washed the bedding because our feet were full of sand and black, but the next day the floors were back to the same way we started so it’s definitely from the sliding glass doors being open and the sand blowing in from the beach. I would recommend bringing your own pillow as the pillows aren’t very comfortable but every thing else was great!The pool area is amazing and the beach walk out was great, they even had a bin with sand toys for kids so you don’t have to buy or bring any!The condo was adequately stocked with dishes and cooking items and all the appliances worked well. The bathrooms were very clean and updated and spacious. The balcony was wonderful with plenty of seating for our family to enjoy coffee on in the morning. Would recommend this condo!

Beautiful condo!

Beautiful condo, everything was as described. The only issue was the air could not keep up but maintenance was coming to check it out when we were checking out so hopefully they got it fixed. Lots of room for a condo and we enjoyed having the pools as well as being right there on the beach. The restaurant on site had lots of options for a decent price but it was also not far from lots of restaurant options.

Great Week long stay with 10 people

Overall, this place was fantastic and delivered on the promises in the description. Two rooms have beds that are firm, but definitely not concrete like as in some other reviews. I like it cold inside and the AC unit kept it at 68 in the blistering heat. Elevators were never an issue even being on the 15th floor. Very rare to wait more than a couple minutes. We definitely recommend the elevator on the West side for shortest line and quickest route to the room. Beach was beautiful from our room. Check in was smooth and even got in a little early with no problem. Pools, bar, and bikini bobs were all great at the resort. Highly recommend this unit and /or renting from this company.. Great communication before and during trip.

Family vacation

Other than the water itself, we were very disappointed. Condo was not clean and not taken care of. Broken cabinet doors, shower door did not open and shut properly, only 3 chairs at the table because others were broken and all of the beds slept horribly especially the 2 kings in the guest room. Couch sat horribly. We are also not drinkers so the bar at the pool was not good. Adults drunk by lunch and the pool was not a family friendly place at all. We would not come back.

Needs upgrades

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In my opinion this unit is not up to pent house standards. The master bedroom and the room with the 2 king size beds stays hot and the ceiling fan will only work on low speed. The beds were the hardest beds we have ever felt. (Feels like you are sleeping on plywood) the 3 bed room was the only room that would get cold and the beds were the only comfortable beds in the unit. The toilet in the 2nd bedroom is on a tile thrown my 5 year old fell trying to get down. In the kitchen one cabinet is broken off and was held up with a broken stool when we arrived in the unit and the stool had to stay up againt the cabinet the entire time or the cabinet would fall. One of the kitchen chairs was broken. The showers did not look like they were cleaned. I'm not one to nit pick or even leave reviews but this unit definitely needs some upgrades! Other than that the summit was a great place to be we loved the location and the options of food drinks and the market all down stairs!

Family Trip (Elevators Broken)

We booked for our first Family Vacation, we have been to the Summit before but had been a long time ago. Thought the price was a lil steep but it was after all a surprise Christmas gift for my Children and Grands. We arrive to only 1 elevator working for Thousands of guest leaving and going. (They have 4). So it took a while to even get to the room (15th floor). Room was nice needs some updating but nice. The Elevator issue went on the entire time we were there 1 day 3 would be working next day 1. I actually called the manager of my rental to see about getting some type of reimbursement for waiting so much of my trip on elevators, only to be told tough luck. I work in public safety and there is no way, if there was a fire or even a natural disaster everyone in that building would survive. Overall trip wasnt bad but its hard to grade higher due to the enormous amout of time wasted on waiting for 1 elevator, and the lack of concern over public safety especially when it is your clients safety. There needs to be some serious investments made to upgrade the entire system, we were in fear of getting on the repaired elevators due to hearing of people getting stuck with 0 AC in them.

Great stay

Unit was as described. Plenty of space for our family of 8. My only complaints are the beds. Master bedroom and the bedroom to the right have the worst beds ever. It’s like sleeping on concrete. The bedroom to let left had super soft beds. Toilet In master doesn’t flush well. Other than that the condo was clean and perfect for the week.

Was suppose to stay at summit and last minute was told the unit was not able to be rented due to construction. Had this trip planned for 2 months and paid. Was moved to the boardwalk condo and was not happy with the stay at all.

Disappointing Rental - Nice Resort

To be clear: We did NOT stay at this property. Confusing, right? It was for us, as well. We rented this property for Spring Break and only 5 days before our departure from NW Indiana we were notified that ownership had "started a small construction project" and that things hadn't gone well with the contractors and our unit would not be inhabitable for our trip. Why would you start construction on a unit that is rented for the busiest season of the year, paid in full nearly $3k, just days before arrival? I'm not sure because no explanation was offered when I asked. The solution? We were provided two mediocre one bedroom units by the rental management company, so our two oldest children (16 & 17) were separated from the rest of the family by 7 floors. Super undesirable. We no longer had a master with balcony access (hearing the surf at night was top of my husband and I's list of wants in choosing our accommodations). We now had to share a bathroom with our 10 & 12 year old boys. The boys now had bunks built into the hallway instead of their own room with queen beds. The teens had to share a king bed instead of each having their own. To top it off, the unit we shared with our younger boys had extremely bad mold all over the ceiling and walls above the shower/bath. One of the two chairs at the dining table had a broken leg. The glass on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator was missing, so we could not use it lest everything fall down into the crisper drawers.

I initially had a pent house.

I originally had a pent house for me and 8 friends for Spring Break, and less then a week before our stay there was “construction” in that penthouse. We were then moved and separated to two separate rooms on separate floors on separate sides of the building. But with all of that said, both rooms were in great condition and we did enjoy our stay. Pool restaurant/bar were a really nice accommodations we were not aware of originally. I don’t know who to blame for the incident the owner, Vrbo, or property manager. But be aware of “change ups” with no reimbursement at this location.

Worst Condo I have ever stayed in. ZERO STARS!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived on Sept 2, 2023 to discover a nasty condo. The condo stunk of cigarettes. There was dried watermelon juice on cabinet, which ran down into a puddle on floor behind trashcan. There is no possible way this condo was cleaned. It is an old condo that has not been updated in years. The screen door for the balcony was leaned up against the wall. All 3 showers were nasty and had mold on ceilings, the curtain, behind the commodes. The linen was nasty and we had to wash just to be able to sleep in the beds. No mattress covers on several of the beds. My daughters pillow had blood on it. We cleaned the master bath so that we could take a shower and the shower head blew off and almost hit my husband in the chest. They did come fix this. I sent emails and pictures but housekeeping never came. The air quality was so bad. There were cracks in the ceiling beam. The walls were stained and filthy. We left on Monday September 4th.

Great stay

I was a little hesitant to stay because of some of the reviews that I had seen however our condo was great. It was exactly as I expected. I was actually pleasantly surprised at the condo and the property as a whole. The beach, tiki bar, pools, and small restaurant were awesome and convenient. The property is older but well taken care of and as with any place the elevators can be held up at time but were not as bad as reported. One of the few things I would recommend is making sure everyone is careful to not lose their bracelet that the property has you wear, which is fine but if one is lost you will be charged $20 (my daughter lost her swimming at the beach). I do wish the condo that we stayed in (1505) had a broom and swifter or mop to help keep it clean but that is a very minor complaint. I look forward to booking again. We truly enjoyed our stay.

It was far from perfect (low toilet pressure, poor shower handles, broken burner on stove) but the view, price and ample condo size made up for that. Building has definitely see better days. I found it more than inappropriate to have a casino game in the game room where kids can access it.Family enjoyed the stay. Thanks for a great trip.
