The perfect old school PCB beach house. Very close to the beach. The backyard is the best part. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was really nice. Overall, I think our experience was just not the greatest. When we got there, the power was out and it took a while to get into contact with the owner to find out what was going on. After being there a couple days and realizing the hot tub was cold in the mornings they finally call us back and tell us that the hot tub is just complementary in the evenings after a certain hour, and you cannot adjust the temperature. For this, they did make an exception and gave us access to the hot tub during the day on some days but you still couldn’t adjust the temperature one night It was so hot we couldn’t even get in.They had a porch swing on the back side of the house that was broken. Because of the beautiful scenery and trees you end up with leaves all over the concrete and in the pool every morning Because people come in and out of the door to go to the pool from the kitchen/bathroom area, it causes humidity to build and condensation on the vents which drip cold water on your head and We tried to keep the door closed. The house was really nice and very clean. The beach access wasn’t bad but for what we paid to stay there I expected a little more.

The location is wonderful. The west end of Panama City Beach is the best. It is much quieter and less crowded. From the back gate it is a short walk to the beach. The beach access point is directly across the street. Having a pool and hit tub was a big plus. The inside is not quite as nice as the pictures represent. For example, there are multiple stains on the couch and it is definitely time to touch up the paint. The house is spacious, but the teenagers that slept on the bunk beds in the converted garage complained the lack of adequate ventilation. The kitchen was kinda funny since there was a very random assortment of supplies stored haphazardly. Overall, it is a great spot in a wonderful location. It could just use a little TLC.

Great property

It was an awesome stay, very clean, there were only a couple issues but stuff happens. End of the day I will be coming back to this property to stay again. Short walk to the beach and just far enough from everything so it's not overcrowded.

Wonderful Property!

Awesome property just as advertised! The backyard was such a great set up and we loved the heated pool/hot tub. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the planning of this property. Quick communication with property manager and very short walk to the beach. Definitely would stay here again!

Amazing place! Just a short walk to the beach, with a beautiful backyard, great pool, and an awesome hot tub. A few minor downsides: the master bedroom bathroom had no door, the grill wasn’t very appealing so we didn’t use it, and a few things (including the backdoor button) were broken. Despite these small details, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again!

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! We also appreciate the feedback. The backdoor button has been repaired several times. We have discovered that a couple guests took it apart. Thank you and we hope to host you again. Team Sun

The home needs a good deep cleaning. It did not appear that the bed sheets had been cleaned and there is a lot of dust on lights, end tables etc. There were two vacuums, and both were completely clogged so I had to clean and repair them before they were usable. The beds were all very uncomfortable. Some new mattresses and pillows would be a big plus. All that aside the location was perfect, and the pool was fantastic. It was a great vacation for our entire family. One last thing, the alarm on the door in the dining area that opens to the pool was damaged and the alarm had been taken apart and the battery removed. We would stay here again if you can make a few improvements.

Wayne, We appreciate your feedback and will certainly address anything we can. The pool alarm has unfortunately been taken down by guests and we have had to reinstall a few times. We will check on that right away. We are very glad that you loved the pool and the location! Team Sun

We recently stayed at this property and were surprised by several aspects of the experience. We have rented many vacation homes over the years and have never encountered a property that provided so few basic supplies or had virtually none of the leftover essentials commonly found in rental homes. Upon arrival, there was no welcome binder, property guide, or information sheet explaining house rules, amenities, where items were located.Guests should be aware that this property appears to be stocked with only the absolute minimum. There were no extra trash bags beyond those already in the trash cans we could find. The kitchen contained no seasonings—not even salt and pepper. There were no dishwashing supplies, such as a scrub brush, sponge, or dishwasher pods. Unlike most vacation rentals we’ve stayed in, there were no leftover condiments or basic kitchen items available. During our stay, the propane tank also ran out while we were grilling our second meal.Essentially, you can expect bed linens, bath towels, and a roll of toilet paper per bathroom—but little else. Shortly after arriving, I moved some couch pillows so my sleeping daughter could lie down and found the couch was not as clean as it should have been. Several amenities also appeared to be poorly maintained. Most of the puzzles and games were missing pieces. Swing the near the pool was broken and laying on the ground. Great location but lots of little issues that’s were missed and were unexpected.

The items provided are all included in multiple emails to each guest. We also call and talk to every guest and are more than happy to share all details with you. We do not believe it's sanitary to leave food items behind. We will take note of your maintenance/cleaning comments and make sure they are addressed.

We had a fantastic stay on Memory Lane in West, PCB! The garage playroom/bunkroom was a hit with the kids. The location, near the beach and outdoor pool, is a significant selling point. The property was in great shape, though the dead leaves from the oaks nearby were constantly on the pool deck. There was also no outdoor table for eating poolside. Please note!!! The house is equipped with a pool alarm on the back door (which is the most used door to the house) that requires you to press a button to enter the door. If you forget, the alarm sends a piercing, loud sound throughout the house and into the backyard. This was our only real problem with the house: that alarm. We will certainly try to book this house again for our family next summer (two families)!

Great location and amazing pool and backyard!

The backyard and pool of this property are amazing…they will not disappoint. There is a gate at the back of the property that leads down 1/2 a block to the beach. When you return, you can walk right in the back gate and shower off the sand before going into the pool or the house. It’s very convenient. There were a couple of issues with the home, but they were addressed in a very timely manner. The garage has been converted to a game room and has two sets of bunkbeds. While the listing indicates the room is heated and cooled, it’s very hard to keep this area properly cooled and was not comfortable to sleep when it was hot…but a very fun space as the garage door opens up to the pool. The third full bathroom is in the converted garage and easy access from the pool. Like another review mentioned, the alarm on the doors leading to the pool is very inconvenient.
