Welcome to 2 State Rd in downtown Rehoboth Beach, a pet-friendly and elegant single-family retreat with four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Each bedroom features its own ensuite and SMART TV for added comfort and privacy. The ground level is bright and airy with an open-concept design, soaring 10-ft tray ceilings, a welcoming dining area, cozy furnishings, a fireplace, a large gathering island, a convenient powder room, and laundry facilities. The main-level bedroom opens directly to the rear yard, where you'll find an outdoor shower and a private 10x15 heated pool, plus a lovely screened-in porch with seating—perfect for people-watching, sipping a morning coffee, or winding down with an evening drink. The gourmet kitchen is fitted with quartz countertops, a five-burner stovetop, and is well stocked for home chefs. Upstairs, three additional bedrooms—each with an ensuite—provide plenty of space for everyone. For even more fun, the recreational room offers comfortable seating, a TV, game table, bar, and foosball, making it an ideal spot for family hangouts.
The location is hard to beat: 2 State Rd sits just half a block from Rehoboth Ave and only a quick 15-minute walk (about six blocks) to the famous boardwalk and beach. Five-star restaurants and tax-free boutique shopping are right around the corner, and you're only two miles from the first of three Tanger Outlets. Outdoor options are nearby too—stroll or bike the new four-mile Rehoboth-Lewes bike path or spend part of the day at Tot Lot Community Park. Amenities include the private pool, gas grill, outdoor shower, Wi-Fi, recreational room, washer and dryer, and central A/C, with private driveway parking for three cars. Please note: the pool is open from 05/01 to 09/30; it is not heated during prime summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day), but can be heated in the off-season for an additional fee. One dog is welcome with a pet fee. No smoking. Linens are not provided, though a linen rental package is available. This home offers streaming services only (no cable). If you need extra parking, city permits can be purchased through the parking department. Park the car and enjoy a wonderful beach vacation!

As a result, your credit card will reflect two separate charges: one from VRBO for the service fee and one from the Host for the rental charges. Beautiful, well-managed home--the kind that I wish I could live in year-round! My friends and I had a fantastic stay. It is comfortable, incredibly spacious, well-appointed, and centrally located in Rehoboth. The REMAX team was also very helpful.

Family Getaway

We had a great stay in this rental house. The house had comfortable beds, the kitchen was well-equipped for us to cook meals, and the basement entertainment area was an added bonus. The location was convenient for us to walk to the beach and neighboring shops and restaurants.

Check-in couldn’t have been easier. The pool was small but perfect for our four little girls, who spent many hours enjoying it. The kitchen was a treat. Top level appliances and well stocked with a beautiful island. The page has able seated all ten of us.

Overall I'm giving this a 4/5. The house itself is great, spacious, and perfect for a beach weekend. It's a short hop to the main street and a great coffee and brunch place. It's also about a 15 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. The back yard is not nearly as green and welcoming as the pictures make it out to be so don't rely on the pool being a hang out spot. Additionally, I would recommend against the linen package (though the agency was receptive to our feedback around it), so bring sheets and pillow cases as they are not provided. That being said, these are offset by smart TV's in each room, a well stocked kitchen with gas burners, and a comfortable living room with a large TV and space for the whole family especially on movie night.

Great location, and great pool for kids!

I would recommend this house and location, situated a block from the downtown Rehoboth Circle and about a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk and beach. Plenty of space for 8-10 people. Only downside, no sidewalk and a bit noisy if you like sitting outside. Great property overall!

Beautiful Spacious Beach house

We really enjoyed our time in this home! It had so much open space for our family of seven to hang out in the kitchen, living room and at the dining table all together. And the kitchen had everything we needed including pitchers, a juicer, colanders, many items that other rentals just don’t have. Thanks for a great stay!

Mid Week Getaway

We rented Mon-Fri as a last-minute getaway before school/college starts up again. Location and property were great - could easily have fit a much larger group. Property is very well outfitted and has a small pool in the backyard with plenty of shaded area.

Perfect Rehoboth Getaway

Absolutely loved everything about this house. It accommodated my family and friends perfectly. The location of this house is the best. So close to my favorite breakfast place and we got to enjoy walking around town, grabbing fries on the boardwalk, and eating fresh seafood at one of many oyster restaurants. Just pack your bags, the house is equipped with everything you need. This home is so beautiful and I can’t wait to come back !!!

Beautiful Rehoboth Beach House

We spent Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, well appointed home. The location is excellent. Although the set in a quiet neighborhood, it is just a short walk to downtown shops and restaurants, and even the beach is reachable by walking. We would absolutely consider returning again next year. The only improvement I can think of is that the remarkably well stocked kitchen could use some more pots and pans.

Great house

We had a wonderful experience at this house. The pictures don't do the house justice, as it's really beautifully renovated. We found the kitchen to the be surprisingly well stocked, with pots, pans, cookie sheets, a mixer, and several waffle makers. We were concerned that the pool might be too small, but it was a perfect size for our group. We also liked the location of the house. It's close to a playground, the farmers market, and several good restaurants. It's a little bit of a hike to the beach, but we didn't mind. We would definitely stay here again.

Fun time away with dear friends

The television was very difficult as there were no instructions on how to operate. That was the most frustrating part of our time away .... was happy when our tech friendly visitors arrived to navigate and operate the televisions thru out the house

This house did what we needed - giving us a spacious and comfortable place to rest between the pool, the beach and the boardwalk. Some things that seemed a little silly: not enough towel racks in the bathroom, towel racks behind shower doors so you couldn’t reach them without getting out and closing the door first, an upstairs balcony not connected to any rooms that seemed like wasted space, etc. Backyard is mostly in tree cover, so not much sun for the cold (very small) pool. Lots of nuts constantly falling from the trees to the pool - they HURT when you step on them!. There was so much furniture in the back yard, all of which could use a good cleaning, but not really any of the furniture you’d want near a pool. A picnic table, two benches, three or four sitting chairs .. but only one chaise lounge! And black metal which gets very hot during sunbathing. The ground was a bit uneven in the back - my mom stepped into a hole and twisted her ankle which seems unsafe. Bedside tables were very dusty when we arrived and many drawers had things inside - one had hair ties, one had gas-x (not thrilled about medication being left somewhere easily accessible as we had children with us), and one had a flash drive (ominous). We couldn’t get the tv to turn on in the downstairs king even with new remote batteries. It would be nice to have instruction guides for the TVs, etc. Front porch was lovely - we spent lots of time out there. The downstairs living area was spacious and welcoming.

Perfect location

This place is great. It is new construction with extra features you would get from an older home. The location was just perfect. It is a nice walk to the beach but for us it is better than too much traffic and crowds near the beach. The pool is very small. it would be much better to just be a hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked but missing some items, banking pans, bread knifes, full set of measuring cups and spoons.. there are minor items but annoying to be missing them in a kitchen. The kitchen item also look like left overs from someone else and not of a new house. The beds are all very comfortable. The bathrooms a greats. The basement is not usable. The height is too low and we are 6 feet and taller family. Not even a 5'9" person would like that. Our main issue was the cleanliness. The floor had sand and small debris everywhere. The headboards were so dusty and under benches, furniture and behind nightstands were completely full of dust, dog hair and who knows what else. Surfaces were not very clean either. The kitchen hood is just grease and dust. The beds had sand between the comforters and the mattress pad. We ended up just cleaning everything ourselves instead of bothering to wait for the mgt to send someone. After we get all our stuff in the house and kids running around, it is not convenient nor comfortable to have people over. We definitely left the place cleaner than we received.
