Welcome to Kings Beach—Tahoe’s funky, laid-back lake town. This cozy mountainside hotel suite is the perfect year-round base for your Tahoe adventure.

You’re minutes from hiking, golf, river rafting, and lake activities, with cross-country and downhill skiing taking over in winter. Restaurants, bars, beaches and local entertainment within walking distance.

Inside, unwind with one comfy king bed, two futons, gas fire place, and two TV's with streaming. A full kitchen, fridge, coffee maker, and microwave making mornings easy, and tub shower is perfect after a day on the lake or slopes.

Adventure outside. Comfort inside.
THINGS TO KNOW
In order to watch streaming services, guests must use their own login credentials.
No washer/dryer on-site.
Kitchenette with minifridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Very cold in the room when we first got there, however we took a couple of our own blankets and space heaters they provided heated up the room fairly quickly. Great room, and great location.

Great location in the Kings Beach area. Very affordable compared to the competition. It is a quiet little oasis. There were a couple quirks and a couple things could be fixed, but then I fear it would be a lot more expensive. I had a great stay. Thank you.

Good crash-pad in a great location. Bed is good and water is clean and hot. Microwave and mini fridge both fine, not too small. Some furniture is flimsy, don't plan on doing any work at the table and chairs. Loose window screen and loose shower slider ought to be looked at but all ok for the stay. Lots of towel bars and hooks for sports gear. I like staying at Motel 6's, and I liked this. Walk to everything King's Beach!

This cute little room was clean and within close walking distance to restaurant and the lake. I would have liked to have a more comfortable bed and the internet was so slow we couldn’t stream a movie.

Good place

Was pretty clean and cozy. There were some cobwebs and lots of dust we could see on the ceiling beams and on some of the furniture like the side of bed tables. WiFi was fine on our phones. Tv worked way better when we hotspotted to a phone. Otherwise it was great

Good location, good price

This place was okay. Check-in was all by text and was very simple. Worked great for us. The location was good, walking distance to food, shops and beach. Very quiet, far enough from the road that you don’t hear much. There didn’t seem to be anyone else staying in the other units while we were there.Looks like it was updated recently and has some good potential. Not the cleanest place to stay, but not the worst I’ve stayed either. We wanted to sit outside at the seating area/firepit but it is pretty dirty and there was no propane.We went out to eat, but if you planned to eat in the room there is a hoge poge of random kitchen stuff, not really everything to eat a meal.

Location is great but facilities are rustic at best. No TV service so streaming Roku is spotty and unwatchable. No hair shampoo in my unit - had to use the antibacterial soap.

This room would suffice in the summer, but for winter 🥶. Only small space heater in a brick building and only one flimsy blanket on the bed. Wouldn't recommend for cold winter nights.

Not worth the cost at all.

We were there a few days ago and it was freezing and no possibility of gettwarm. There was a beey small electric fireplace that did not heat the small room but also, there was a sheet and a thin blanket, no comforter at all. Never will stay there again.

We went up for a ski trip in February and the rooms were sooo cold. There were two heaters but they weren’t very strong and needed to be run almost the whole time for it to be comfortable conditions. We turned them off when we left the place and of course return to a cold room. At one point, there was too much electricity being used and it completely shut off. My boyfriend had to switch the break outside after being guided by property staff who aren’t on-site. Also, the rooms were very dry, there was no humidifier, and I caught a cold.

Stay elsewhere

No king bed.. Minimal bedding. Insufficient heat. Large gap over and around door allowing air in. Photo of heater mounted on wall does not exist. We were provided a small heater on the floor. There was a power strip to plug in Tv but it did not reach the power outlet naturally and had to be suspended in the air. The strip was also for the coffee pot and microwave but we were afraid to use them. This is not a property to stay in during the winter as our room did not reach over 55 degrees.

The room was nice and looked freshly redone. However, the electric wall heater was plugged into a power strip which was plugged into an outlet about 8 ft high. If you turned the heat to high, which we did, the power strip would trip and cut off power to the heater. They also had the same brand of power strip for the coffee maker. When we turned the coffee maker on the power strip would trip. Also there was a door to the attic in our room. When we opened the regular door or the heater was on the change in room pressure would cause the attic door to open which made the room very cold. Other then that the room was clean and nice.

Uncomfortable

It was over 80 degrees in the room at night, and neither the fan nor open window helped. bed was terrifically uncomfortable (and mattress & box springs catywampus on the bed frame). There were dishes, but no silverware. Shower pan leaked so standing water on the bathroom floor. No closet. Bizarre kitchen layout. You charged us for “excess damage” before we even signed in. I’ll never use VRBO again. You’re gouging both your owners and your clients.
