Summary:
The perfect-sized cabin sits on the edge of Lake Tahoe separated by only a few feet of private, sandy beach. This remodeled unit with a full kitchen, plush bedding, and a freestanding gas stove is close to Northstar, several restaurants, and a state park.
The Space:
"On the Beach"
Charming lakefront cabin with direct beach access the ideal location for a romantic retreat or private get-away! Naturally, with breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe, there are lots of windows that naturally illuminate the main areas. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen make great use of the space while maintaining a warm, welcoming vibe with all the thoughtful touches.
• MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: 2 Persons TOTAL INCLUDING CHILDREN
• PET POLICY: No Pets Permitted per HOA
• NO A/C: Like 99% of homes here in Lake Tahoe, this property DOES NOT have air conditioning, but fans are provided.
• PARKING: Limited to 1 vehicle per HOA. Street parking is never permitted.
• DISCLOSURES:
*Cabin does Not have central heating - gas stove in living room and baseboard heater in bedroom are the primary sources of heat. Gas stove will not switch on if temperature is above 60 degrees.
*Wildlife in area. It is possible to have bears, coyotes, raccoons on property and at times, mice or even bats found in homes in the area.
• HOA: The property is a part of the Homeowner's Association (HOA). The HOA does have additional rules and regulations that must be followed during your stay. Host shall list the amenities offered by the HOA but host is not responsible for the operation or availability of HOA provided items. Some amenities are available seasonally. Contact HOA directly for more info.
This spacious area features an oversized loveseat, a custom rocking chair, a freestanding gas stove controlled by a thermostat, a flat-screen TV mounted in the far corner above the round dining table that seats 4, and of course, stunning views of the Lake! On the other side of the breakfast bar, is the fully stocked kitchen with all the essential cookware and appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, oven, and full-sized refrigerator. Just off the living area, the updated bathroom with a contemporary vanity and a stunning tiled, walk-in shower with a built-in bench. The door to the left leads to the single, oversized bedroom, which boasts a "Hotel King" bed outfitted with premium bedding, a wooden dresser, and 2 floating side tables with built-in USB ports.
Accessible from the living room via sliding glass doors is the beachside patio complete with an outdoor table, chairs, and a large umbrella. The private beach right in front of the cabin and extending to the right, as well as a second private beach a stone's throw to the left, is only accessible to visitors staying at the property complex known as The Franciscan Lodge. This cabin is located within the complex and has access to all the Home Owner's Association (HOA) seasonal amenities including a pool, a volleyball court, BBQ grilling stations - one just outside the cabin, and a private pier!
Although not included, there is a public boat ramp and kayak rentals conveniently available next door to the complex at the Tahoe Vista Public Beach.
