Lake House Gem: Cozy Waterfront Escape

The east-facing backyard is ideal for shade in the afternoons. Boat dock with a ladder for kids to jump off the roof into 10-14ft deep water. Bring your boat or rent one. It's a 5-minute boat ride to the dam for the smoothest water, ideal for skiing, surfing, and tubing. Incredible fishing as well!

3BR/2BA, 2,200 sq. ft. with a very functional and open floor plan. The home features wood flooring throughout and 10-foot ceilings, which makes the space feel even more spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need. Large, newly renovated master bath with walk-in shower and plenty of storage for all your suitcases and belongings while visiting. The massive outdoor deck is perfect for entertaining and relaxing. Enjoy the Hammock and make some s’mores by the fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs. ***Pet friendly, but must be approved on a case-by-case basis. Please refer to the pet policy in the House Rules section.***

This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with many full-time, retired homeowners. Be respectful and avoid playing offensive music or being too loud.
The owner has a boat parked at the boat slip. There is plenty of room to bring your own boat and/or jet skis and tie them up on 3 sides of the dock.

We are returning guests and will definitely be back again! It’s such a beautiful, clean place to enjoy with our grown kids. The garage ping pong tournament is the perfect finishing touch to a wonderful weekend. Can’t go wrong, beautiful setting and a home equipped with everything you have in your own kitchen to make incredible family meals.

We loved it here. The house was beautiful and spacious inside and out! House & kitchen were stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the host was great! We enjoyed fishing on the covered dock. They let us bring our dogs which made the trip for us. Great deck, yard & lake access. Close to hiking at the state park. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

First of all the property is way better than the pictures, we brought our boat and had plenty of room to swim and fish off of the dock. The extra refrigerator in the garage was a bonus for ice and drinks, the kitchen was well stocked for all cooking needs although we grilled on the back patio most of the time. Our family of five had a great time and can't wait to return! The owners were very easy to deal with from time of booking to checkout! I highly recommend.

The house is very spacious and plenty of room. There is a large back porch and deck that is also very spacious and perfect for any outdoor meal with family.The location of the property is in a quiet cove with great fishing. We spent countless hours sitting on the private boat house dock fishing. We also brought our own kayaks and fished the cove when we weren’t out on the boat fishing the lake. Channel catfish were caught from the dock and a couple bass. This property has many features for any family to have a great time!

Fishing trip

Beautiful spacious home with fully equipped kitchen with gas and charcoal grill. Provided everything we needed. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. Have a nice pier to fish off of and tie your boat there. My husband prefers a boat slip, which we rented down the street called Big Al barefoot marina for a very reasonable price. You would launch your boat there anyway. Caught a lot of fish even in the very windy conditions. Had a great time and will be back. Michelle W.Katy, Tx

Great place to stay!

Very peaceful and felt private. Couch wqs super comfortable and loved the large shower! Clean and well kept. Let us store our car in the garage due to storms, much appreciated. Would stay again!

Week get away

Wanted to take a week to get away from it all. This property is exactly what we’re looking for.Very clean and well-maintained. It’s in the middle of a neighborhood, but yet felt very private.

Quiet and Pristine

Great place to get away from it all. The house has been updated and has everything you need. Two full bathrooms with walk-in showers. The views are amazing! Also a great cove for fishing.

Spring Break Trip

This lakehouse is absolutely the best. The house is very spacious and the lay out is great! Easy in and out for my boat and the kitchen is terrific. Fished for a week with my grandkids and being on the water made is very easy to zip back to house and tie up to the dock for a quick lunch and then back at it. I will no doubt stay here every time I visit Lake Bob Sandlin.

Fabulous stay

This is our second time staying here and we thoroughly enjoyed this lake house. If you’re looking for a lake house that has great views and a great dock. This house is for you. My husband is a big fisherman and this place is fabulous. I love the views. I can sit outside and read my book and Enjoy the view all day. The house has everything you need. The host are wonderful to work with. They responded very fast if I needed anything. We stayed there for six weeks this time and really enjoyed. We got to relax and enjoy fishing. I highly recommend.

Peace not far from home!

We came here for Thanksgiving to spend time with friends and family. The house was very clean and stocked well with towels, spices and such. I am really weird about using kitchen sponges and stuff but this house had brand new kitchen sponges and a lot of cleaning supplies; I know that is an odd thing to mention but it is one of my pet peeves. I loved the back patio and boat dock. The house was in the cove area and I think that helped to shield us from the wind because it was in the 50's everyday and we were comfortable outside in a jacket. I think the highlight of our trip was when we were all on the deck and a Bald Eagle flew above us; it was in slow motion and we all were in awe. They do allow pets and we brought a gate and put it outside by the garage side door. It made for a perfect little dog run so we did not have to walk them 20 times per day. I have also never stayed at a place that offered so many amenities; lake toys, games and more. The owners allow you to use all of their lake toys and they have TONS! I would consider coming back in the summer for this reason alone. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. It did take us a few days to figure out where this weird bird noise was coming from; at first, we joked it was Skinwalkers but on our last day we took the puppies for a walk and one of the neighbors had a talking parrot; we all got a good laugh about it.

Beautiful Cozy Cove…

We had another wonderful time staying here. The house is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet and in a great location on the lake. The marina is super close by and we were even able to have some groceries delivered from Walmart. The cove is so peaceful and great for fishing and paddle boarding. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. You really cannot go wrong with this place. We will definitely be staying here again.

Fabulous Lakefront house

We had A fabulous time. Can’t say enough great things about this property. House, boat dock, fishing was all great. It was close to everything. We’ve been to a lot of places to fish. The dock at this house was the best. We will definitely be back.

The Best of The Best

Pictures do not do this property justice! The house was immaculate with large bedrooms and bathrooms! Bedrooms are spaced well throughout the house. Bathrooms were clean with large showers. Kitchen is large with great appliances and stocked with everything you need to cook meals. Massive deck with tables and chairs for eating or relaxing. The yard down to the lake is spacious and well taken care of. Dock was perfect and we had no issues tying up our 23 ft boat to the side of it and zero worry since the dock is at least 300 yards inside a no wake zone! Lake is amazing - we saw 5 boats during our 4 day stay. We will definitely rent this lake house again! Thank you to the wonderful owners who take great care of this home and allow families like ours to come and vacation.
