Absolutely wonderful cottage!

I’m so blessed to have found this beautiful cottage to rent while my home is being repaired due to water damage. This beautiful cottage is very clean, comfortable, along with excellent kitchen and bathrooms that are top notch It is in a nestled area but yet so close to everything! The owner James and Jackie are very friendly and helpful. We love it so much we are another month.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is new and beautiful. We had an issue with hot water heater and it’s was taken care of in a timely manner. A couple of things that could be a nice addition to the cottage would be wash clothes, a hair dryer, a measuring cup and kitchen knife. We are so appreciative of owners help in sending an item we left behind. Would love to stay again!

Architectural Gem

Our stay in Charleston was made better by this new and crisp guest cottage, set within a landscaped garden. The cottage is a 5 star suite that is independent of the owner's home. It is also within easy walking distance to great restaurants, coffee houses etc. around Mount Pleasant. Our host James was very helpful and responsive. We will definitely book here again as it is head and shoulders above the typical quality of accommodations.

Newly built, luxury stay

The cottage was recently built and has amazing finishing touches throughout - you feel like you are in a spa retreat! James was very helpful with the few questions I had and the cottage was perfect for my weekend getaway. I would definitely rent it again!

Wonderful Stay

This property was immaculate and so perfectly designed. James built a beautiful home and we were so happy to have been able to spend our vacation there. The kitchen and bathrooms were right out of a magazine. We were blown away by the intention that was placed into creating this space, and James was a great host. Communication was awesome and he even went out of his way to let us check in a day earlier than planned. The location is a short drive to the beach but also close to downtown Charleston so we were able to have the best of both worlds. The price per night is extremely reasonable for how nice this property is. My family and I would recommend this place over any of the condos or hotels at the beach. Great food and fishing nearby was an added bonus.

James & Jackie are both working professionals that enjoy the city they call home due to the proximity to local beaches, amazing food options, community, and all that the greater Charleston areas has to offer its residents. We enjoy time at home raising our family and also like to get away to explore other destinations in the US and abroad. We have spent the last few years developing this property in Mount Pleasant to be a sanctuary in the middle of it all. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

We have spent the last few years developing this property into a very private setting for ourselves and our guests to enjoy. The yard is shaded by over a dozen oak trees with soft downlighting for the evenings. The historic brick that was used to make the courtyard was reclaimed from an 1830's building in downtown Charleston. If you look carefully you'll find lots of fingerprints throughout the courtyard.

There is an outdoor kitchen just off of the guest house that is largely built from the reclaimed lumber from a pre-civil war home on State Street in the French Quarter in downtown Charleston. Everything you'll see here has a story and intention.

Although we are very close to Coleman Blvd we are at the end of a very private street with no through traffic, which keeps the noise down very nicely. We are 3-5 minutes walking distance to Starbucks, Gold's Gym, New York Deli, and several other great spots if you're looking to get out or a quick bite or a coffee.
