🐾 Welcome to Sandy Paws where boat and dog lovers find their perfect retreat! Our charming 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath vacation rental is designed with your furry friends and maritime adventures in mind. Unwind in a recently renovated home that combines comfort, convenience, and coastal vibes. Sandy Paws is privately owned and managed.

• Ready for Relaxation: Arrive to find your beds made, bath towels, washcloths, and hand towels provided – making your vacation truly stress-free.
• Convenient Location: Located on Oak Island, Sandy Paws is just 0.7 miles from the nearest beach access, 1.1 miles from Publix for groceries, 1.8 miles from the nearest boat ramp, and 1.7 miles from Oak Island Park.
• Boat Parking: Bring your boat along! Our property offers a driveway with ample space for your boat, making it easy for you to embark on aquatic adventures.

We always enjoy our stay at Sandy Paws. Everything is always so nice, clean and comfortable. It's the perfect place for us and our dogs. The fenced yard makes it so nice and the front door is a good place to sit. Can't wait to come again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sandy Paws! It was a fantastic place to relax, recharge our batteries, and enjoy some quality family time together. The house was comfortable and welcoming, and Oak Island was the perfect setting to slow down and get away from the everyday routine.We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. Sandy Paws was exactly the kind of peaceful getaway we were looking for, and we would definitely love to come back!

Super pet friendly! My dogs loved to start at the squirrels in the trees . House was amazing and one of the better beds I have slept on while using VRBO, which was a great help for sleeping! Everywhere on the island is pet friendly and depending on the time of year you can take the dogs off leash.

It was the perfect little place to bring my family and two dogs! I love the fenced in yard so I dont have to worry about my dogs when letting them out. Everything was also very clean. We will definitely try staying here again next year!!

Perfect fenced yard for our dogs to run around! Very quick response when reached out about wifi.Lock on sliding glass door is difficult but works.Met our needs to get away and relax! Not far from beach, yet dont feel like you're in the middle of it all.Would recommend

Sandy Paws was a wonderful home for the week. The kitchen is well stocked, the appliances are in great shape and the furniture is very comfortable. The backyard was great and the outdoor shower a favorite after a hot beach day. It was comfortable biking distance even for the littlest. All in all we will certainly be back.

We had a very nice stay. This is a wonderful place. Lots of nice shade in the backyard when it's hot. Also, a pleasant screened in porch so that even if it rains a little there is a place to sit and still enjoy the outside. We are very thankful to find a place that will allow more than one or two dogs. We look forward to coming again.

A wonderful Get Away

This was an amazing place to book. Clean, great location and plenty of space for our little family. The kids enjoyed the yard and the adults enjoyed the patio would definitely stay at this property again.

Originally from just north of Charlotte NC, we moved to Oak Island, three years ago because this is truly our happy place! We love everything about the beach from the sand, to the salt water, and all everything in between. We love fishing, swimming and most water activities. We decided to manage our very own VRBO property to provide guests with the vacation experience we always looked for when traveling with our pups.
