Evans Heaven

Nestled on the outskirts of the heart of “Little Switzerland of America”, with an amazing view of Mount Sneffels, this is the perfect mountain cabin to get away, relax and recharge!

With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, there’s ample room for up to 6 guests. The primary bedroom features a spacious ensuite bath with walk-in shower and sauna (upon request).

After a fun day of outdoor adventures, you’ll enjoy all the comforts of home plus some special vacation treats…

Keep your eyes open for frequent visits by grazing deer and take in the glorious star filled sky on clear nights.

There are indoor and outdoor games available to enjoy, including corn hole and horseshoes.

Evans Heaven is located 5 miles from the town of Ouray, where you can enjoy hiking, jeeping, hot springs, ice climbing, box canyon falls, unique dining and some wonderfully quaint shops. Or consider Ridgeway Reservoir, just down the road, where you can enjoy fishing, boating and paddle boarding.

This property contains two separate living spaces. The main house is the house you will be staying in. The smaller living space is the owners quarters. From the month of May to September the owners may be staying there, depending on their plans. However, your privacy is of our utmost concern and they will go unnoticed!

Please note: there are cameras monitoring the outside areas. Front door, driveway, garage. There are no cameras located inside.

In response to COVID-19, we have made sure that our cleaning and safety precautions align with CDC guidelines. The house is cleaned with COVID approved cleaners. We provide self-checkin for our guests so there is no physical contact.

Standard minimum stay is 3 nights.”

Great location for seeing the fall colors

I had a great stay at Evans Heaven during an October trip to see the fall colors. The house was clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed. There was even a gift basket waiting when we checked in. Deer and birds visited the yard every day. Tammy was a great host and was helpful over text messages throughout our visit. The wifi was also fast enough to work remotely. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking to enjoy the southwest Colorado scenery, especially during fall!

Perfect!

Majestic Mountain Escape

The place was great!! Pictures online do not do it justice. It was very reasonably priced, clean, comfy, and the playset for the kiddos was a plus. We took a 22’ car trailer with ATV’s and there was plenty of room for us to get around. The area is quiet and very safe! We felt as if we were at our home in the country! Tammy and her husband were excellent hosts! They made us and our feral children feel very welcome, and told us to just let the kiddos run, scream, and play in the yard. She commented on how much it reminded her of her grandkids! They may live right next door but don’t let that scare you! They give you ample space! I highly recommend this place. We will be going back!!

Family Overlanding Vacation

Our stay at Evan’s Heaven was wonderful! The house was stocked with everything a family needed. It was just as easy as being home. Having use of the grill and hot tub just made things even better! There was plenty of room to park a large RV and 3 Jeeps in the driveway. There was so much extra space that we never felt over crowded or in each other’s way. The location of the property is centrally located in the middle of all the trails but still close enough to town if we wanted to go out to eat, grab coffee in town or do some shopping. Communication with the owner was easy just like texting a friend. We would definitely stay here again.

Feels like home

Evan’s Heaven was a fantastic property, ideal for togetherness. The large living room, kitchen, and dining area were perfect for preparing meals as a group or relaxing after an adventurous day. The large deck had ample seating and perfect for morning coffee. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful Getaway

Tammy went above the standard vacation home rentals and texted me day of and after I left to make sure everything was okay. She and her husband had a thoughtful gift package upon arrival with personalized cards and jam! They home was a perfect fit, especially for little ones! The sandbox and trucks were a hit!

Wow! Tammy’s place is absolutely wonderful. Top notch amenities, thoughtful touches, adequate privacy, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, well-appointed kitchen, communicative host, and incredibly reasonable price point! Tammy thought of everything. We’d love to stay here again when we come back to Ouray.

Welcoming Escape

We stayed at this property with 4 adults and 2 kids (9 and 5). The accomodations were very clean and neat, with close acess to both Ridgway and Ouray while still feeling like you are in the outdoors. Every day, we saw deer on the property which was fun to see. Hosts were very accommodating and really take care of the property. Would come again.

Great Family Trip

The house had everything we needed. The location was close to Ouray, safe and peaceful.. The cabin/house was clean. The owner made sure the hot tub was working so we could enjoy it, thanks Tammy. We would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect and clean location.

This was a perfect place to stay. Close to many hikes, hot springs, Ouray, Telluride, Sliverton, and many more beautiful places. Our timing was perfect, the leaves were perfect color. It’s definitely Heaven!

We had a wonderful stay at Evan’s Heaven. The cabin was beautiful and extremely clean. We had everything we needed & more! Don’t hesitate to stay here, you won’t regret it. Evan's Heaven Rocks!

This was our first real family vaca since covid, and WOW, everthing was absolutely perfect. Our stay at Evan's Heaven couldn't have been more perfect. Wonderful Week

We spent the week in Ouray exploring the mountains and local towns. Evans Heaven was perfect for our stay. Plenty of space for 6, clean, had everything we needed. If we come back to visit, we will, without a doubt consider Evans Heaven.

Weekend getaway!

We traveled to Ouray to four wheel our jeeps and stayed in this very cozy home. Very clean and close to the town of Ouray. We will be back next year!

Home away from home

Property was very clean, up to date, and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and sheets were so soft. Kitchen and bathrooms had all the items you could need and the rooms had plenty of space. An awesome tree house, swing, slide and sandbox that was perfect for our 6 and 3 year old. Owners were gracious and accommodating. Perfect for up to 6 guests. We would definitely book again in the future.

Great Location

The property was in a great location for us to enjoy our stay for us to explore the mountain passes and a beautiful golf course near by. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
