The comfortable, spacious (85 m²) and lovely apartment is fully equipped with a separate, fitted kitchen, a dishwasher, an electric oven with ceramic elements, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, egg boiler, toaster, coffee machine and electric kettle. The cosy living room includes a dining niche, a couch suite, satellite TV and telephone. There are two or three bedrooms available with bedding (a crib is available) to help to assure a pleasant night’s sleep. The bathroom has both a tub and shower and includes towels. A splendid view of the Alps awaits you from the balcony.

Our popular lovely house is centrally located, sunny and quiet. The apartment is situated in Hopferau near the famous castle of Neuschwanstein and it is the ideal starting point for many activities throughout the year. These include: cycling/mountain bike touring, hiking, mountain tours, go sightseeing, cultural events, swimming lakes, in winter skiing, toboggan and all winter sports.
Hopferau is a cosy little place near Füssen with many sigthseeings, activities and cultural events, such as summer festivals, folkloric evenings, theatre presentations, Alpine horn concerts etc. The region includes Neuschwanstein Palace, Old Town Füssen (approximately 7 km) castles Frey-/Eisenberg , Falkenstein, Romantic Road, Via Claudia, Wieskirche (famous church), Hopferau Castle and much more. Neighbouring Austria (Tannheimer Valley, Tyrol) is just 20 minutes away. Worth seeing towns for excursions are Garmisch (and the Zugspitze - the highest mountain in Germany, it is 9842 feet high), Oberammerau, Lindau, Salzburg, Oberstdorf, Innsbruck or Munich. More famous castles in our region are Linderhof palace, Hohenschwangau castle or Herrenchiemsee palace, other recommendable destinations are th roaring Pöllat Gorge (near Füssen),
'Marienbrücke, Breitachklamm, Lechfall' , wild mountains and gentle hills, a rich culture and imposing
nature and typical folklore.
Other Activities: skating, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, hut-to-hut hiking
Ski: Winter sports are available in the resorts of Pfronten, Tannheimer Valley, Jungholz, Hahnenkamm, Tegelberg and Ober- u. Unterjoch. All belong to the Allgäu-Tirol Ski Association. Most have artificial snow and are located 15 to 25 km away. Additional easily reached resorts include: Zugspitze, Ehrwald, Berwang, Bichlbach etc. Cross-country trails in Hopferau-Eisenberg, in the local communities, or in Tannheimer valley. Ice skating and curling available on the local lakes or in the stadium in Füssen. There are pool complexes in Nesselwang and Schwangau.
