Apartment Schloßberg in the southern Allgäu very quiet location in Hopferau near Füssen

Our house is located in a very quiet area in Hopferau near Füssen in the southern Allgäu, close to Neuschwanstein Castle, and is the ideal place for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation any time of year.
You’ll find a pleasant, cozy atmosphere in our comfortable, newly renovated vacation apartments with free Wi-Fi, which accommodate 2–3 people. Our apartments are equipped with dishwashers. Shopping and restaurants serving home-style cuisine are just a 5-minute walk away. Within a radius of about 10 km, you’ll find many attractions such as Neuschwanstein Castle, the town of Füssen, Lake Forggensee with boat tours, mountain railways, thermal and water parks, an ice rink, a paragliding school, and more.
In winter:
You’ll find wonderful skiing on the superbly groomed slopes within a 10–25 km radius of Schwangau, stretching from Pfronten and Nesselwang to the Tannheimer Valley in Tyrol, Austria.
Hiking and Biking Paradise: Right from our doorstep, you can enjoy our foothills of the Alps as a hiker’s paradise. Whether taking a stroll through the lush green meadows and forests or around the idyllically situated natural lakes. For a more challenging hike, head up to one of the many alpine huts, which invite you to enjoy a hearty snack. Of course, mountaineers and rock climbers will also find plenty to enjoy as they take in the magnificent mountain panorama from the 2000 - 2400 -meter-high summit. If you enjoy cycling—whether on a mountain bike, trekking bike, or road bike—everyone will find a route to suit them on the many hundreds of kilometers of marked bike trails and paths through our Pre-Alpine landscape. If you don’t want to bring your own bike, there’s a bike rental shop in town with a good selection of all types of bikes.

Swimming and relaxation: In summer, our natural lakes (Hopfensee, Weißensee, Forggensee, Alatsee, and many more) with their crystal-clear mountain water invite you to swim and sunbathe.
If the water is too cold for you, you can visit the beautifully situated water parks and outdoor pools in Pfronten and Nesselwang.
For peace and relaxation, there’s the “Königliche Kristalltherme” thermal spa in Schwangau, featuring a sauna area and a relaxation grotto.
