Built in 1907, our 3 bedroom/2 bath home is the perfect escape to small-town life. Sleeps 6 comfortably. We kept all of the historic charm and added modern amenities. It's a 2-minute walk to downtown Hico, TX.

Treasure hunt at the boutiques and antique shops.

Plan an Instagramable picnic by the river with A Bushel and a Peck Picnics.

Learn about Hico's notorious history at the Billy the Kid Museum.

What a fun place to stay for family weekend! Lots of room to hang out, close to surrounding towns for shopping, dining, concerts! Highly recommend if you’re headed to HICO to shop or to Stephenville for college weekends and awesome concert venues in the area !!!! Host was awesome! Check in was easy ! We were in town for my daughter‘s wedding and stayed at this super cute house for the weekend. It was absolutely perfect in every way! Very convenient to the downtown area and super clean. Would stay here again!

Our family visits Hico every year for the Steak Cook Off. Staying in this home was the best experience we have had to date! The location was perfect and the home had everything we needed! We already booked it for next year!

Great Place

This was a great place. The cottage was stocked with all the essentials plus some. The place was clean and well kept. The hosts take fabulous care of this place. I will definitely stay here again.

This house is a beautiful piece of history. A lot of love and hard work has gone into the home to preserve the historic feel without sacrificing any modern amenities. The original portion of the home was built in 1907. The original floors, shiplap, and a few doors we saved and preserved beautifully. I grew up in New Braunfels, TX where history and old homes are everywhere. This home reminded me a lot of my childhood.
