La casa fusiona el alma de una hacienda campestre con la comodidad de la vida en la ciudad. Imagina exuberantes áreas zen al aire libre, un soleado patio central, salones traseros bajo la sombra de nuestro icónico Árbol de la Vida y el Árbol de la Sombra, un área de juegos infantiles, rincones privados de jardín y espacios flexibles para reuniones tanto en interiores como en exteriores — todo envuelto alrededor de un amplio y bellamente decorado interior, ideal para estancias cortas o prolongadas.

The host met us at the house to show us around and give us the keys. The house is well maintained and the kitchen is well equipped. Quiet neighborhood close to the xmas light circle.

Great location and super helpful host

6 Adults and 3 toddlers wanted to be near Sesame Place. The house was very convenient to all of our day trips and easy to get back to for kid naps. Our host led us to great fish tacos, as a plus!

Casa Sur was a lovely venue to host my mom's 70th birthday party and the perfect home for our extended family to stay. The kids especially loved the bunk room and adults liked being on the other side of the house away from the kids. Ricky Ricardo was a wonderful host with great communication before, during, and after our event and stay. For the party, he set up tables, chairs, a canopy, and provided other amenities for our event like large coffee pot and hot water containers and beautiful mugs. I would definitely recommend Casa Sur Hacienda for an event or just a family vacation. Chula Vista is close to everything in San Diego and Ricky Ricardo is a top notch host!

A great getaway in Chulavista

Great group spot

We had a wonderful stay at Ricardo’s property. It was just like the photos and description online. Plenty of space as we were there for a family reunion. Loved the outdoor dining and hang out spaces. All the rooms were beautifully equipped and we didn’t feel like anything was missing that we needed. Would definitely love to stay again - perfect for families or group of friends!

Very accommodating and cozy place for a family get together. Weather permitting, great back yard for maxing and relaxing by the fire. Host was always in communication if we needed help or just had a question.

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday as we were on a mission to build a home in Mexico. House was perfect and Ricardo was a great host. Very prompt with attention and details that helped our stay to be comfortable and memorable. I would highly recommend his home.

I was born in Mexico City, lived in New York City for many years, and now proudly call Southern California home. My journey across cultures, cities, and careers inspired me to create Casa Sur Hacienda as a place where people can feel welcomed, inspired, and connected.

Hosting for me is more than offering a place to stay—it’s about creating an experience. I truly enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and seeing guests gather with family, friends, or colleagues to relax, celebrate, and share meaningful moments together.

Casa Sur Hacienda is a culturally rooted, purpose-driven gathering space located in the heart of Chula Vista, just minutes from San Diego Bay and the new Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center. The property blends the warmth of a home with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces designed for comfort, connection, and memorable experiences.

When I’m not hosting, I enjoy staying active—swimming in the ocean, biking along the coast, dancing, and spending time in nature. I’m also passionate about community building and creating spaces where people can collaborate, learn from one another, and grow.

Casa Sur Hacienda reflects those values. It has hosted travelers, families, entrepreneurs, and community gatherings, and many guests say they feel a peaceful and welcoming energy here.
